@Kate6214: I'm sorry for your losses, that must have been very difficult. I, too, have preferred this board (though I'm largely lurking in the shadows ) over the POAS board. I think the "more seasoned" posters here understand the cautiously optimistic approach and the higher anxiety that comes with TTC for 6+ mos &/or following losses. I know for me it isn't simply about getting a +, but that it sticks. Best of luck to you, & welcome.

@doxielove: Why don't you pop back in again and tell us how you are doing? You are up next on the list!!

@MrsMcD: Haha. I'm either 5 or 7 dpo. (I've been careless with opk's lately so I've been pinpointing O based solely on CM). If AF isn't here by my POAS date I may wait a couple more days to see if she shows.

@doxielove: I fully support your desire to wait to test, although the wait may KILL me! So I think we have you way early on the POAS thread. In any event, keep checking back in if for no other reason than for me to see your cute dog on your profile picture.

@MrsMcD: Thanks. I haven't been referred to a RE yet, but my OB did have me go to a Maternal fetal specialist. Basically if I get a BFP I'm suppose to start taking baby asprin and they are going to monitor my progesterone. It's hard not having an answer and basically be told it could just be bad luck.

Ok guys- after almost 3 years, 2 m/c, 7 rounds of clomid w/ too many ultrasound probes to count and an HSG last month...

    I am cautiously optimistic.
    5 weeks today. 1st u/s this Friday.
On progesterone and baby asprin until further notice

@Kate6214: It sounds like you have a great plan in place with your doctors. I know how it absolutely sucks being told "bad luck" or "unexplained" as the explanation for anything.

@MrsMcD: I POAS July 8th- was a huge squinter. I have been really bad at updating boards... All we did different was relaxed in Florida last month and soaked up the vitamin D and did an HSG as soon as we got back. This is all so crazy. I don't have any symptoms except pinching on left side. I pray and pray all the time this one is lucky #3!! Losses are getting more and more difficult!

@mrs bunchy: Was your HSG this exact cycle that you got your BFP? Did you have any blockage that was cleared during the HSG? And what cycle # is this for you?

ETA: So sorry I don't already know this info if you have already posted it on this thread.

  20. mrs bunchy

    kiwi / 533 posts

@MrsMcD: haha totally ok. Yes. This cycle I would have gotten pregnant the week after the HSG and had NO blockage.

Couldn't even tell you a cycle #. Literally 3 yrs trying. Every month.

My husband and I have been TTC for almost a year now, with no luck at all. I am starting to get discouraged We can't afford to do IVF right this minute, so I'm hoping it will happen naturally. I would love some luck being sent this way.

@SarahL1234: Hi lady!! I'm basically in the same boat as you! Do you have insurance that will cover trips to the ob/gyn? There's a lot a general gyno can help you with. Why do you think you need IVF? When's your POAS/AF date? I'll add you to the list!
