    @MrsMcD: right?! How amazing of a due date thread would that be?

    @Crystal: I'd love it! Have you looked at when your due date would be if you get pregnant this cycle? Mine would be April 6. Just FYI, one of those pregnancy psychics said I would have an April due date... I'm not taking it seriously or anything...

    @MrsMcD: April 10!

    Well, that means it HAS to happen this month for you! It's science!

    We would find out the day of my EDD from the miscarriage, and would announce to our families on DHs bday. It has to happen, right?

    Day 1 of conceive plus completed! I liked it, felt a little more watery than preseed.

    @MrsMcD yes we have insurance, but there isn't many options in the small town we live in. My AF is not real regular unfortunately. I can go months without it.
    We have been trying for almost a year this go around.

    @SarahL1234: oh man!! your irregular periods are totally a thing that your insurance should cover. lots of girls on here have similar issues. talk about that with your doctor at your well woman exam.

    @Crystal: I'm so jealous you tried the conceive plus. I hope it works for you!! and we would nearly be due date twins!!!

    Still bfns here. Temp drop to the cover line yesterday, and dramatically below it today. I'm out. Just waiting to see if AF shows today or tomorrow.

    @lilyofthewest: sorry girl

    @Mrsstar: @mrsbunchy: oh my goodness it's on FIYAH in here! I'm so happy for yall! Also to mrsbunchy, I am also a 3+ year story... I had my IUD removed 3 1/2 years ago and although there were about 9-12 months where we didn't BD on the right days (I.e. weren't trying) we have yet to have any success! Your story literally made me smile. There is hope ladies!!

    I got my first smiley face on CB digital opk this a.m!. And even though my eyes were having trouble staying opened last night, I still got a BD session in. #nowthatsdedication

    I'm hoping someone can clear this up for me... I was just looking at the CB digital opk instructions. It says it shows 2 ish days of "high fertility" by a flashing smiley face and then 1-2 ish days of a solid smiley face for "peak fertility". Well yesterday I had a negative altogether but this a.m. it was solid! So I missed the high fertility days (which is a rise in estrogen) and went straight to peak fertility days (which measures LH). Can anyone interpret this???

    @lilyofthewest: sorry to hear this! Hugs! The waiting for AF sucks.

    I am also out. After spotting on and off yesterday all day, which is not normal for me, AF showed up full force around dinner time. So is yesterday cd1 or today?

    I felt like I knew it was coming so I was sad Sunday and yesterday and now am trying to move forward. I had a beer last night and am treating myself to iced coffee this morning as part of my self care.

    In terms of this new cycle, I am going back to charting. I downloaded the circle & bloom meditation and am going to start it tonight. I am also going to call my OB this week. We went off bc a year ago this month and I would like to hear what she has to say.

    So, I can officially join you girls now. bleh. I'm not at all excited about reaching 6 months of trying with no result, but I've been creepily stalking y'alls thread and I am looking forward to joining you rather than the POAS threads. I'm happy for anyone who gets a BFP...but it's a different sort of happy (with less jealousy perhaps) when I see it happen for ladies over here!

    CD: 1

    Cycle #: 6

    TTC #: 1

    POAS date: Aug. 11

    Backstory: I quit BCP in 2011 when DH and I were engaged while I was learning NFP. After 5 or 6 cycles off it, I had my annual and my gyno read my charts (some cycles were up to 99 days long) and could tell that I had PCOS. I've been treated with Metformin (1500 mg)

    DH and I were NTNP and somewhat unsure if we really wanted children (we were open to it if it happened, but weren't trying) until last November when my SIL announced she was pregnant with her 8th. The jealousy reared its head for the first time. DH and I hadn't really talked about it yet or started "trying," but low and behold, I got pregnant in December. I miscarried around 8 weeks.

    Based on how excited we both were with the BFP, we agreed we could start trying for another. That was the end of February. Our timing wasn't perfect for a couple of months, but the last few have been spot on, and still no result.

    I'm planning to give it another couple of months, but at my next annual, want to talk to my doctor about it. She suggested at my last annual (before we were even trying!) to see her if we weren't pregnant within 6 months.

    July TTC plan/something new you want to try: I'm not sure how much "new" there is left to try! I temp, I've done OPKs, I've taken Mucinex, used softcups... I'm hoping this month to actually try to step back a little. This past cycle I stopped tracking symptoms in FF and I liked not being as obsessed.

    Silver Linings of not being KU: I'm getting closer to being able to finish my master's degree before having a kid. I'm scheduled to finish Spring 2015, but DH and I agreed we could put off my thesis if I did get pregnant. So I still have a chance of having a baby due in April, but my program is pretty flexible. I'm pretty sure they'd let me finish early if I really wanted to push for it.

    @MamaCate: Since my mc, I've had a few cycles where AF started as a day of spotting. I count the first day of true red flow as CD1. I've been told the spotting is just one of those wonky post mc things.

    @MaryM: Welcome. I'm so sorry for your loss. I purposely left my thermometer at home when I was on vacation last month and haven't picked it up since. I can appreciate the feeling of trying to relax and not be too obsessed with things.

    @lilyofthewest: Sorry you are feeling out. I kept you on the list and just moved your date. I hate being moved off the list before you are truly out. Keep positive and just look at AF as a fresh start for a new cycle.

    @organicmama: Good for you, lady, with the spot on BDing! Keep it up! I'm so exciting for you with the clomid this cycle. As for the advanced clear blue OPKs, I have no clue how they work. Sorry!

    @MamaCate: Sorry AF showed up. I would count yesterday as CD1 as long as the full thing was in effect around like 9 pm or earlier. I start to get conflicted on when to count "day 1" when AF shows up at like 11:00 pm. But if its early evening, count that day as day one. Let me know how you like C&B. Also... good luck with calling the doctor! Let me know what happens. Are you hoping to get an appointment with her, or hoping to actually chat with her on the phone?

    @MaryM: Welcome! Sorry you have to join us, but I think you will be happy here for your hopefully very short stay. I've added your POAS/AF date to the list. Feel free to update the list yourself whenever you like. You've had quite the TTC journey. Sorry about all you've been through. But I do like your plan for this month. Just relax and have sex! Its the having sex that really does the trick. In the meantime, keep going with your master's thesis! That's awesome. What are you writing it on?

    @MrsMcD: I have no idea what my thesis will be on! I'll write it in the spring semester. The program I'm in is geared for working adults, so thankfully writing the thesis is considered a "class" and they sort of walk us through it.

    It will most likely be something relating communication (what I do) to either leadership or organizational culture.

    Management. with an emphasis on organizational communication.

    With all the BFPs lately, it makes me want to POAS, but given I probably haven't even ovulated, that would be ridiculous. Probably O today (CD15). We have hit CD12, 13, and 14. Without temping, all I can reply on is CM, but between conceive plus and BD (sorry for the TMI), it's about impossible. So we BD on.

    Getting things done around the house (laundry room is in MUCH better shape), made a couple phone calls I needed, cleaned out one of my email accounts, watched the Bachelorette (she is such an idiot) and planning a trip to the grocery this afternoon. While DH and I are trying to eat healthier, is it wrong to make the healthy chocolate cake from black beans?

    @AmeliaBedilia: BDing is the best thing to do! When is your POAS/AF date? And please share the details on the "healthy chocolate cake from black beans"!!

    @MaryM: Sounds awesome! What do you do with that degree when you are done?

  30. MaryM

    @MrsMcD: Hopefully get a raise

    I work at a university and am hoping to move up the ladder internally. I was turned down a job I applied for in another office a few years ago (well, not really turned down. HR never passed on my application because I didn't have a masters). The hiring manager is my boss' boss and sort of a mentor to me. He said "You know what this means right? You should get a masters"

    So I did. But it will make me more eligible for management level jobs. I've never managed people, but at least I'll be trained in how to do it.

    @LovelyPlum: @T.H.O.U.: Can I ask you guys when you took the baby aspirin and what its effect was for you? I'm thinking about starting it; I read it can help with implantation and to lower miscarriage risk.

    @PawPrints: I didn't take it until after a confirmed BFP but it was prescribed after I had two losses. I would talk to your doctor about it because after I had a bleed it did contribute to a SCH

    Hi ladies, took an frer this morning and there's a line! It's pretty light (and definitely pink in person). AF is meant to be due today so I'm planning to take another one in 2 days, just hope it sticks! Thanks every one for the congratulations!

    I, too, have been a lurker for awhile, and though it sucks to be trying for so long, I'm glad it gets to be with you ladies!

    CD: 1
    Cycle #: 7
    TTC #: 1
    POAS date: Probably won't POAS, but AF is due 8/11
    Backstory: I got 'baby fever' last summer and started charting until dh was ready. We started trying in February, and honestly, I thought we would get pregnant on the first try. I have no health issues, we're young, I've never been on birth control... I have no idea. Thinking about getting dh tested soon, just to rule that out.
    July TTC plan/something new you want to try: I just got a new job offer so that makes TTC a little difficult. I've decided to keep going for it though, and whatever happens, happens. I think I am going to go 'back to basics' and just bd eod, no charting/opks.
    Silver Linings of not being KU: Booze! Money! Getting to do whatever I want!

    Well... I am out for this month. AF showed up in full force today. I am not too bummed because I kinda knew. So... on to the next cycle! I am very optimistic about this month because it will be our 2nd IUI but this time, I will be on 100mg of clomid, I will have a day 13 ultrasound and a trigger shot, then the IUI 36 hours later. I just KNOW this will be it!

    Congrats to all the BFPs!!!! So happy for everyone!
