Ok I think I asked this a while ago but now it seems like there are more cloth diapering moms so I will ask again. Does anyone use kawaii or alva cloth diapers? Do they work well enough? They are so cheap so just wondering if they work decently?

Kawaiis are straight crap. I know several people who used them and had to toss them just months after purchasing them.
I have one that is basically an Alva (It's from a company called Assunta Store, which sells cloth diapers to run a home for disabled orphans in China) and I like it well enough. They work pretty well, although I'd spring for the hemp or bamboo inserts to boost the absorbency.
I'm a loyal BumGenius lover. Theyre freaking amazing. I also really, really like Peachy Green AIOs. They're on the more pricey side, but worth it, IMO.

I have a few Alva diapers and they work alright. We have to double up on inserts though because LO pees through them in no time. Doubling up sure makes them bulky though . We have some really cute prints which almost makes them worth it!

I haven't used these, but I agree that buying good inserts is key. Even my bumgenius microfiber inserts have gone to crap over the past year.

I have a couple kawaii that I got for free. One delaminated within a few months and the other started leaking within weeks. I'm not a fan of microfiber in general and unfortunately I think with cloth diapers you get what you pay for!

I have about 26 Kawaii's but prefer my Bum Genius dips. The Kawaii's do the job but the BG's are WAY better quality.
