WTF?! So creepy.
I think a lot of these ideas come from movies? TV? Who knows?!

That is awesome...and creepy! "It's a monster, we should bury it." Bwahahaha!

Hahahaha I read this yesterday. I think some of it (the reincarnation stuff) is probably fake, but the "I want to peel all of your skin off" had me crying from laughing so hard.

@Shutterbug: "I want to peel all your skin off" made me laugh outloud too!!!!!
The reincarnation stuff freaked me out. I hope it was fake!

My son had this made-up word he used to say "macama!"No clue what that was about but he'd say it in this psycho gravelly voice and it was super creepy. Or when he learned to say "man" and would insist there were men in the kitchen. CREEPY!!!

@Mrs Hedgehog: no, but my SIL's youngest niece did.
She said to my husband (years ago when she was like 2 or 3?):
niece: are you afraid of ghosts?
husband: no
niece: I kill you.
OMG! haha I died laughing when he told me and got a bit creeped out.

@regberadaisy: HAHAHA. I just laughed so hard at that.
It's really funny and really creepy. The little girl with the clean private parts who said she fought and died, ugh!

One of my girlfriends woke up to her daughter standing right in front of her and she said "Monsters are real" and then ran back to her room!

LOL I love that. Mine is too young to talk yet but I'm sure there will be some gems in the future! And I've definitely had some from students I worked with in the past...

Okay I was laughing out loud until I hit the one about the little girl cleaning her privates, that one might haunt me.

@Mrs Hedgehog: I'm reading the original Reddit thread and this gets even creepier! A lot of it reincarnation/ghost stuff. I'm kind of scared to be in my apartment alone right now.

More from the Reddit thread:
When I was about 3 we had a cat that had still born kittens. I asked my father if we could make crosses for them, which he did. As he was making them I asked:
"aren't those too small?",
Dad: "What do you Mean?"
Me: "aren't we going to nail them to them?"
Dad: (after several moments silence) "we're not going to do that"
Me: "oh"

My noticeably pregnant sister and I were having a conversation at the dining room table. My 4 year old son was also present and asked my sister if there was a baby in her belly. She affirmed. He, completely straight faced, slid from his chair and headed for the kitchen saying "We need to get it out. I'll go get the knife. "

@mrsjazz: @banana: haha it's a classic. We still say that to each other. The creepiest part is she said it in a really low voice...

@lemondrop: omg I read that and immediately thought I'd be keeping that baby with me the whole night!!! geez!
these are soooo weird!! Some are hilarious and even cute - like I love your so much I want to cut your head off and carry it with me everywhere - that's actually kind of adorable cause he has no idea what he's saying.
but yeah the ghost/reincarnation stuff eeks me out especially since I don't believe in it so I really wonder where that stuff comes from.

@Mrs. Pen: If you read the entire Reddit thread (obviously I have too much time on my hands) most of the stories are ghost/reincarnation stuff--it's really spooky!

@mrsjazz: I've spent wayyyy too long reading that whole thread. The reincarnation/ghost/imaginary friends stories are so creepy, especially because there are so many of them!!

@IRunForFun: Yeah, I wasn't sure where I stood on the ghost thing (even though I have witnessed a kiddie saying some creepy stuff about a deceased relative) but that thread scared me into being a believer.

@mrsjazz: My younger sister had an imaginary friend with a very odd/unique name when she was little, and now I'm curious to do some research and see if was a "real" person because that's so creepy!
