Any recommendations? DS is always wanting to help in the kitchen. We have baking tools etc. that are small enough and safe for him to use, but I'd like to look into some other kitchen tools for him.

We have one of these that DD likes to use- we got it when she was 2, and let her cut zucchini, etc.

we started with the knife @LulaBee: linked. Now she uses the smallest knife of this set : http://amzn.com/B002Q5YH9C
We also got her a small whisk which is "her" whisk. She regularly helps us wash and cut up veg for dinner!

LO has her own whisk. This one is a great size: http://www.amazon.com/Piggy-Wiggy-Little-Egg-Whisk/dp/B00380FPYU
We also have an IKEA spatula that is a good size for her, it's a bit smaller and lighter than better quality spatulas.
Also, if you have a decent kitchen/cooking store near you, they should have stuff that can work for kids.

DS1 was gifted one of the Curious Chef kits. Works really well for him.
