Today I was walking my daughter into daycare and I heard the 4 year old girl behind us say to her mom, "Mommy, you have a baby in your belly!" Her mom replied: "Honey, you can't tell anyone that yet. It's a secret between you, me and daddy."
That made me smile. I told the mom I heard nothing.

We don't have many because speech is still very new to him, so although this isn't hilarious it was just so cute.
I took L to get his hair cut on Sunday and afterwards bought him a cakepop for being so good. I asked him if "mama could have a bite" and he said "no. baby's". (he calls himself baby).

My Los new favorite phrase is " mom!!!!! Can you do me a favor??" Followed by the most ridiculous requests like a bowl of ice cream while she's on the potty or building her a pink shelf just for her frozen books.

A bit TMI but DD has been constipated today and when she passed gas it apparently hurt so she asked me to kiss where she hurt. Essentially asking me to kiss her butt.

When I was still in the hospital with K, my SIL came to visit with my nephew (4) and niece (2.5). DH was there, but L wasn't, she was at daycare. After my SIL left with her kids, my niece asked her if L turned into baby K - she was very sad to lose L!

We had that exact conversation 6 weeks ago. It was our "secret" for a while. She cracked under pressure and told her little friends though, which was super cute. Luckily I was already showing and starting to tell people.

Yesterday DD1 was eating a english muffin with her breakfast. She said "mom, my muddin has sparkles!"

We were talking politics and dinner the other night with my ILs. LO heard us day "republican" and goes,
"Pelicans! Pelicans fly fly at the beach! Like this!" And starts flapping frantically.
I have more, but that was my favorite from the week. This kid is just hilarious.

My sister got D this plane that you can put together with a little drill and screws and stuff. So last night we put it together, took it apart, put it together, and took it apart again. Then we put it back in the box and he put the box away. He stood up after putting the box away and goes, "What now?"
He's also taken to calling our cat a maniac. The other day my MIL was reading to him and the cat was running around like nut. D looked up and said "Pa-poot [cat's name is Padfoot] maniac." My ILs were in tears.
