We have a queen and love it. We had a king for a while but it felt too big for us. I hated that DH was so far away - it was almost as though we had two separate beds. We're so much happier in our queen!

We have a Queen, which was more than enough when it was just the two of us + cat (we even used to share my childhood twin when we visited my parents, lol) but toward the end of pregnancy when I needed so many pillows and now with LO co-sleeping in our bed, I do feel cramped sometimes. DH could probably just move over, though, honestly, but with a King he wouldn't have to.

we have a queen but when we buy our new place the first thing we're getting is a king bed.

We have a California King (hubs got it with his first big tax refund check almost a decade ago) and have had the same bed for 4 apartments and finally our current bedroom in our house!
It's actually too big for our small bedroom (we have no room for any furniture except our night stands... so our dressers are in our closets, with our shirts hanging above), but it's worth the "compromise."

I love our queen, but we are cuddly sleepers. When we stay in hotels with a king bed we either end up all on one side of the bed or super far away from each other and I hate that.

We have a full size bed that we share with our 60lb dog. It's cramped but we make it work. If we were to upgrade, I would get a queen, but as far as I know, we have no plans for a bigger bed!
I say if you have the space and money, go for a king size bed! I live in a small apartment so a king wouldn't really fit lol.

We have a full ._. My husband is 6'4" but I am petite at least. Still pretty small, when we come home from travelling when we have a King size at the hotel, our bed feels especially small! We are probably replacing it within the next year because it is also EXTREMELY creaky. My husband wants to get a king lol but we would probably get a queen if we were to upgrade, a king has too much space and we cuddle most of the night anyway.

@hotchildinthecity: same with us! I feel like our queen is humongous!

We have a queen. We love to cuddle and it's been great for the past five years. But it's a little problematic now that I'm pregnant and want my space with a body pillow. Also, with our two nightstands, we wouldn't be able to fit a king in the room.

King! We had a queen for awhile but upgraded to a king a couple of years ago and I would never give it up.

Queen and it's suffocating. Also we have a cheap mattress and box springs that squeak SO LOUDLY and aren't comfy. We have absolutely no room for a king in our small house. DH refuses to upgrade beds or mattresses because we will be moving in a couple of years to a much much bigger hues and we're getting a king then. I don't blame him but I really hate our bed!!

King! Seriously, if you can afford it and space isn't an issue, I would absolutely 100% go with a king. Now that we have one I don't think I could ever go back to a queen!

Get a king!!! We have a queen, and it's just a bit small for us to be super cozy.

We have a queen right now but just ordered a king, we get it next week! We can't handle the Queen anymore, it feels so small! I'm just annoyed about having to buy new bedding, it's so expensive haha

We got a king when I was pregnant the first time and now I have no idea how we managed with a queen! DH is 6'4" and he often curls up in the fetal position at night which takes a lot of room. The king gives us room to spread out - I don't like to cuddle when I sleep.

We have a king, and we love it! It gives us room to spread out when we sleep, our dog can join us, and my son often crawls around on our bed too. A queen felt too small, and the king is just right.

We bought a king set in March, and although it was a bit of a sell for hubby (he was concerned with the expense of buying extra sheets), neither of us has looked back since. Lots of room for a cat at the bottom of each side of the bed, plus now that I'm pregnant, I'm really enjoying the extra room for my big pillow!

We only have room for a queen but would love a king. We just upgraded from a full about two years ago

We always swore we would never have a king sized bed because they are so huge and we feel so far away from one another in them, but now that we have two large dogs that like to sleep with us, we're desperate for a bigger bed! We have a queen now but will be upgrading as soon as we can to something roomier.

We upgraded to a king last year and I can never go back!! I need my space and silence while sleeping and Wagon Sr is an extremely active sleeper. I hadn't gotten a decent night's sleep in almost 9 years until we got our King. I can put an entire king-sized pillow (practically the length of a body pillow!) between us and it keeps his flailing limbs away from me and muffles the sound of his teeth grinding.... I love it!!! But I am not a cuddler and an extremely light sleeper. If it were up to Wagon Sr. we'd have a twin.

We have a Full actually and it's just fine! The closeness is nice. I always feel list in a king bed! But I also think it depends on your size and need for space.

We currently have a queen but plan to use my year end bonus to upgrade to a king after Christmas. I've shared a queen with other people before with no problem, but my husband has an amazing ability to take up more bed space than any other human. So a king is necessary for us to be comfy.

Queen but I wish we'd splurged on the king! Maybe when my youngest is ready to get out of the crib we'll play musical beds and someone will get a queen so we can justify getting a king
