I think it's called BM sea glass or something...a very light green/blue/gray. I think those colors look great with oak/honey cabinets!! It offsets the orangey tone of the wood
Eta- it's called Palladian blue! Love it

We JUST painted it blue (as in, last night!). Because painting our entire house 2 weeks before baby comes is the best plan ever

@lilteacherbee: hahaha hey once baby's here, you won't get it done. so better now! last time my house was deep cleaned was when I was nesting Dec/Jan
looks great!!
@NovBaby1112: oooooh love!!
@Tidybee: i want beige but dh said no

Ours is yellow but if I had a do over, I'd do a green. Our bedroom is Valspar Betsy Ross House Moss and I like it a lot. Here are other people's pictures off the internet.

A very light mint green with white cabinets, butcher block perimeter counters and a dark black Quartz island.

A gray with bluish undertones, and our hallway is blue. We have oak cabinets too and I think the cooler tones make the honey oak cabinets/floor less overwhelmingly warm

@regberadaisy: drooling over your kitchen!
Mind is all white and I love it. But everything (walls and trim) in our apartment is white. It feels so clean and airy.

Gray! And it's only really visible on the top section lol! The rest is subway tile

We're planning a remodel and I'm leaning towards white. White cabinets with an oak island and some easy to clean counters (not sure what color).

@lamariniere:
labor of love because my DH is amazeb@lls. Let's house swap! LOL

Bright blue, I love it! I like having a bright kitchen and it goes well with the cabinets and floor so everything doesn't look washed out. You can see in the background of this photo of ds

I have cream colored cabinets with a brown antiquey looking glaze, black counters and black cabinet pulls. We wanted a beige that was darker than the cabinets to make them pop, but I had such a hard time finding a beige that wasn't too green or too yellow. So I ended up choosing one that was more on the pinky side... sounds weird but I really love it! It's called Parisian Beige, I think. by Behr.

@yellowbird: That does go really well with your cabinet color!

@jape14: I really like that! I'm going to have to grab a swatch and see how it looks in my kitchen.
@sorrycharlie: Ours is Carolina Blue, but I'm not a fan (especially since I live in KY).

White cabinets and counter tops. Black marble on the island (there when we moved in, but I would like to change someday) and bright yellow walls.

@sorrycharlie: We have an open concept house, so the kitchen is the same as the living/dining areas. It's a 'greige' colour.
Our kitchen hasn't been renoed yet, but I still painted it to make it look a little better until we gut it. I'll probably keep the same colour when we reno it too to keep the flow.

My kitchen is a disaster right now, but I will post a picture later. We have oak cabinets, and bright red walls! Love it!

Our kitchen is on our to-do list as well. We have honey oak cabinets, which I will either paint or replace the doors from Ikea. I'm not in love with our kitchen at all, but like you, there are other projects that take priority!
Our kitchen walls are few; the colour is a very light grey.
cantaloupe / 6131 posts
Sherwin Williams Grecian Ivory (it's a light khaki color) as the main family room kitchen color with SW Poolhouse as the main kitchen/accent color. Our cabinets were originally golden pal and we just had them painted General Finishes Milk Paint in Antique White. I included a pic of our laundry room so you can see the color contrast.

@avivoca: HA! I could only wish. It is a horribly, awful, no good fluorescent box light. It will be promptly removed once we reno!
ETA: I hate this kitchen. I love everything else about this house, but I'm leaving a beautiful open kitchen with an island for this tiny little gross kitchen! LOL.

Our kitchen is a really really really light green. You can't see much of it except in the dining area and the hallway. One day I'm going to paint the house and probably go gray.

@jape14: I love this color!! You may have just inspired my new kitchen remodel
I'm going to show this to DH now!

We will be redoing our kitchen in the near(ish) future and I'm pretty sure we are going to go with a white/grey color scheme. We love the grey cabinets with tiling and counter tops that complement and stainless sink/appliances.
Our kitchen is currently very outdated and several shades of blue done by the previous owner.

@gingerbebe: I used that brand of milk paint on a dresser and it was amazingly easy. Did you have them put a poly coating or anything over the cabinets to seal them after the paint? (Wondering because if I can use milk paint on my cabinets I totally would paint them!)

@anbanan15: We are probably going with grey cabinets too! I love them. I found these doors at IKEA ( http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/80266034/#/80266034 ) and I think we'll save up to replace the doors and get some colour matched paint for the actual cabinet base. I don't think I have the energy to sand, prime and paint the cabinet doors. Such a daunting task.

White cabinets, dark espresso island, white quartz countertops, light gray walls.

Our kitchen is light blue with white cabinets and the floors are a cherry colored laminate. My husband doesn't like the wall color but I do. We just moved in so it wasn't the first space we decorated but I'm sure we'll change it up to something we both like.

@.twist.: Love that color! Thankfully my brother will be redoing ours
It needs a complete gut job and redesign. It is hideous right now.
@chopsuey: Sort of love this!

@anbanan15: Oh you lucky girl! My bro is an electrician, so he will at least be able to take out the hideous fluorescent lighting. haha

Our last kitchen was a modern white/marble look, and we used Glidden's French Grey.
Our new home has oak cabinetry and white counters. We painted it Benjamin Moore's Covington Blue, which I absolutely love. We have it in the kitchen and breakfast room. It's open to the rest of the home which is BM Revere Pewter and to a French-doored study/playroom hate BM Philipsburg Blue.

@chopsuey: Gorgeous kitchen!!
We just sold our house but our kitchen/living (open concept) was Hot Springs Stone by Benjamin Moore. Kind of a grey-beige color.

I'm drooling over your kitchens. Really need to gut and redo ours, but our cabinets are white and walls are a light blue.
pomegranate / 3350 posts
We used Benjamin Moore Atmospheric. Painted our last kitchen that (white cabinets with soapstone) and loved it so much that we painted our new kitchen the same color. Now we have darker, cherry wood cabinets and granite counter. Still love the color!
