I just got a K'tan (the Active one, made of mesh) and according to the package, I'm in-between sizes and should get the smaller size. I purchased a Small. I have it on now, and it feels really tight with my 5 week old in it; I have no idea how an older child would fit in there! It almost feels too tight... but I'm wondering if it's supposed to be like that?
Please advise.. should I pick up a larger size?

It stretches out a lot while you wear it, especially as your little one gets bigger. I have a small and DH has a medium. I tried his when I had a similar experience when DD1 was tiny, and for me at least, the small was better. She fell away from me a little in the bigger size, if that makes sense.

@rattles: Do you have the regular, cotton one? This mesh doesn't seem to give as much; it actually hurts my back.

@ktdid23: for me, I was a small when baby was small but a medium as baby grew. You might want to try the medium since I had the same problem with how tight the small was.
