I made whole wheat pancakes this morning.

I cook every night + lunch on weekends. Maybe twice a month I have a "fend for yourself night" where I don't cook anything

Last thing I made was baked BBQ chicken, Lima beans & potato wedges that @blackbird actually gave me the idea for (lonnng time ago)

I made baked whitefish the other night, with oven roasted baby potatoes and corn. I was just happy I felt well enough to have food smells in the house--for the first time in forever. Dh was pleasantly suprised and kept asking them if I "really" made the potatoes. I think he thought I bought them frozen?

But I was like....um...I just bought potatoes, cut them into quarters, drizzled some olive oil on them, tossed them in spices and parmesan, and baked them for 45 minutes. So yeah...I "made" them as much as potatoes can be made. It was funny.

I made Cincinatti Chili last night. We put it on pasta (not always spaghetti) and put onions and cheese on top. Mmmmm.

I cook practically every night. Living in the middle of nowhere with no pizza places, take-out, or many restaurants (we currently have 1 in town) kinda does that to ya, lol. So we eat homemade all the time. Last night was brinner- breakfast for dinner. Poached eggs and toast for Farmer and the kids. I'm on the HCG diet and I had a green drink for supper. Yum, I know. We're getting ~18 eggs a day from our chickens right now, so we eat a lot of eggs. Tonight will be deer roast that it's in the crock pot right now, as well as home fries- on top of the eggs, we grew 600 lbs. of potatoes last year and are trying to eat them up too!

@MaisyMay: I had NEVER heard of this until a coworker made it for me a few weeks ago. Chili, on top of a bed of rice that has a layer of cheese and some dollops of butter on it!

@artbee: I love making homemade pizza!!

We cook everyday and pretty much never eat out. We need to grocery shop so yesterday was a mishmash but the last dinner we did was miso curry squash and potatoes with coconut bread and and chicken. Yum!

We had homemade spaghetti last night. I have mostly home made meals.

Carbonnade a la Flamande - Belgian beef stew. So so so good and easy.

Last night, our neighbor cooked and brought us dinner. I'm 10 days post parting and it's part of our church's meals ministry ( dinner every other night for 2 weeks, yay!) we have only had to cook once since he was born, and are making filet and crab cakes tonight bc my parents will be here for dinner.

last home cooked meal was tuesday when I made lamb burgers and cauliflower poppers. so good!:)
