This weekend is my church's harvest carnival, and I've volunteered to run the cakewalk booth, and bake most of the goodies. So far this week I have made lofthouse cookies, pumpkin brownies, strawberries cupcakes, and have orange cupcakes baking now. I will probably also make a batch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. All of the decorating is happening tomorrow.

I baked a apple crumble pie Tuesday night for DH's birthday. It was delicious.! I tried a different pie crust recipe and I really liked how it turned out!
Not sweet at all and adding sour cream to the crust gave it flakiness!

Mmmmm. So many good things to read about! I made triple ginger cookies (they are all gone now, so tonight I am making cinnamon pinwheels). Then tonight I am baking some sourdough. Back when Mr. T and I first got married I promised to always keep him in fresh cookies during planting/harvest. I've been pretty good about it. It's a nice excuse to try new recipes.

Zucchini-oatmeal muffins for quick breakfasts. I've been doing variations on the theme for the past few weeks and it's so nice to just be able to grab one and put something healthyish in my tummy as I run out the door.

@.twist.: It's a cookie! I made them because many members of my family are gluten free and these "naturally" are. They are essentially almond flour, egg whites and sugar plus filling of your choice (I used chocolate ganache).

I made cornbread last week to have with dinner. Tomorrow I plan on making a pumpkin chocolate chip bundt cake!

I made cupcakes earlier this week. I think I'm going to make my Great Aunt Rose's Sour Cream cake this weekend for my neighbor.

@Mrs. Lovejoy: I use the recipe on Joyofbaking.com and as for secret... use high quality ingredients! I used pretty crappy almond flour this time that wasn't ground fine enough, so I actually sifted out the big granules myself to get a nice fine flour.
They're actually not that hard to make... but they're very time consuming and require patience lol.
