DH setup childcare and took me out for a really nice dinner a couple of weeks ago. It's not something he has ever done and I so, so appreciated it. Hoping for more surprises like that in the future.

Ummmmm a year ago for valentines day he got me a really nice necklace out of the blue (we don't really do gifts). That is the last thing I can think of!

We joked about a push present but few weeks before I gave birth he had box for me to open afterward and it was diamond studs that I had wanted for a long time!

I was sick over the weekend so he took LO to the grocery store so I could nap and he surprised me with a pint of my favorite ice cream when he got home.

Last fall we were talking about buying me a replacement pair of earrings for one that was lost and about using a coupon to do it and I totally forgot until after the coupon expired, but dh had quietly bought them for me

He surprised me with a kitchen aid mixer when we brought LO home from the hospital last summer. He doesn't do surprises and we rarely but each other gifts so I was completely surprised.

This morning. He pooped in the guest bathroom and didn't flush (supposedly not to wake up the baby.) Boy was I surprised when I lifted the lid later in the day.

I just told DH if he ever wanted to surprise me I'm open to a cruise or beach trip sans kids. I'm not greedy, 2-3 days is enough! 
and I can be ready to leave in 15 minutes!
On Valentine's day (unrelated to the day) I slept in and just as I was waking up he brought me breakfast in bed with the girls. With coffee. The man is a saint.

My SO got several bunches of daffodils yesterday from Trader Joe's and placed them throughout the house - really brightens things up.

@Boogs: DH surprised me a few days ago.
After work he stopped at the grocery store and bought me an Easter lilly and two different herbs so I can start my herb garden (something I've been talking about for a long time). It was very sweet and he was very excited to give it to me.

Just yesterday! He ran into the Asian market (we don't have one near our house) to grab something quick while I sat in the car with the kids and when we got home he had gotten me the spicy ramen and kimchi I was secretly craving. I crave secretly because he doesn't eat spicy and abhors the smell of kimchi, so it's extra sweet that he did that.

brought take out dinner for me and our 2 girls on friday--sashimi, tempura and udon. and every weekend, he gets up early (he is one of those early-risers and I'm not) to make breakfast for all of us and lets me sleep in another hour, I wholeheartedly appreciate it.
