I say it should be legalized just like alcohol is. They both inhibit your senses. It's not any more harmful than alcohol. Of course there should be laws around it as there are for alcohol. Shouldn't mean that you can smoke and go drive to work and expect it to be accepted. There's no reason you can do for one and not the other. It would also help stop arresting people and wasting money on such silly charges for possession of marijuana. NJ is legalized for medicinal use, but I think it should be legalized and taxed here as well. I believe it would do wonders for the state.
I used to smoke for my anxiety and to help me sleep. It did wonders. If I could smoke now (can't as I work in a hospital), I would probably be less stressed and anxious. I'd be able to focus and sleep correctly. I would use it for those purposes only.

I am a "nay" person, but that is because my experience with marijauna has been pretty extreme (addicted abusive ex, eventually became a dealer, started using cocaine, died of an OD).
I think that just because alcohol and tobacco are legal is a moot point. They are both dangerous and harm people. Maybe all of it should be illegal.
I agree with PP that it is nearly impossible to test if someone is "under the influence" when driving as it can take weeks to clear from your system.
