I'm with you. I don't get the leggings craze.

I do think the brand plays a role, I have some that are awful (not sure why I still have them...) But others are nice and cozy but still look decent with a long sweater and boots. I do have some jeans that are as comfortable but others are terrible got sitting on the floor in, I hate having them dig into my belly and then having to readjust them when I stand up.

I wear them around the house and to bed. I think they are sloppy and inappropriate for everyday wear. I also hate that the kids I teach wear them daily. In my mind it's like wearing your pajamas to school.

I like leggings for certain things (long sweaters, long tunic tops) but I don't wear those a lot. I don't see the trend too much. I like pants.

I definitely think it could be the brand. I got a few pairs of fleece lined leggings in a co op and was so excited. I hate them! I'm roasting, the crotch sags, and they're a strange length.

I have an old pair from Abercrombie of all places that I LOVE. So, so comfy. So I went out on a limb and bought a couple pairs of LuLaRoe (they do sell solid colors!) and I'm in love. As in, I'm a diehard jeans person, but I'm swayed to want to wear them every day all day.

I wear leggings under casual dresses, or very long tops, but not as pants. I'm much more comfortable in a pair of jeans.

I like the athletic style because they aren't binding. If I could wear them everyday, I would! Soft pants for the win!

I have a few pairs of Zella from Nordstrom and love them! High waist is a must for me because I'm self conscious about the extra baby weight still around my belly area. I was not super into leggings before I bought them, but they were a game changer.

I am not a fan because they do nothing for my body type. I don't do well in the skinny pants/big shirt combo.

It took me a long time to get used to how tight skinny jeans are, and I'd never wear tight yoga pants out of the house, so leggings are only under dresses for me. Basically if it is too short to wear without leggings then it is probably just too short, but I'm pretty conservative with my dress.

I love leggings. I live in leggings at home. It could be the brand I suppose. I have a few different kinds and haven't noticed much of a difference though. I only wear leggings at home, occasionally to the grocery store, but never to work.

But I can't stand wearing jeans around the house. I find jeans so uncomfortable. I always change as soon as I get home.

I only like leggings when I'm pregnant.

Sooooo comfortable. Sounds like they may not be for you though? You definitely have different expectations from your clothing than I do, if you're accustomed to being able to functionally utilize your pants pockets. Jeans pockets are so tiny/tight that I don't miss them when I wear leggings. (Also, dresses don't usually have pockets anyway!)

Love them! I like the Lululemon high rise leggings I feel like they suck everything in.

I tried to buy those Felina leggings to try out but my local Costco was sold out!
I haven't found a leggings I really liked until I tried the Gap maternity leggings. They're low rise, super stretchy and I continued to wear them after pregnancy. They are on the thinner side though so I wear them with tunics/dresses to cover my bum.

Love leggings, wish I could wear them every day! But, I was an 80's child and grew up wearing stirrup pants and leggings regularly, so maybe I'm used to them.

@Raindrop: My leggings definitely do not hold me in, FWIW, and I do find them to be super comfy like sweats/yoga pants. Maybe try on some at Old Navy? Those are more thin and flexible, I have found.

Every single day, I don't remember the last time I wore jeans. I've replaced all my pants with leggings (we have a super casual dress code at work). All mine are Perfect Core leggings from Lucy. High waisted, decent amt of compression, opaque, long (I'm 5'10")
