yes i've heard this, but there's also research that suggests kids with asthma just get sick more often, thus requiring more tylenol. i think charlie may develop asthma (he's had several respiratory viruses), but i don't withhold tylenol based on these studies.

if his fever is over 101, I give him tylenol.

I am pretty sure I read something about the mom using Tylenol while pregnant being linked with an increased risk of asthma. (http://www.webmd.com/asthma/news/20110330/acetaminophen-in-pregnancy-link-to-babys-asthma)

But even this article says it's not changing their recommendation of only take it if you really need it.

The fact that both of these came out last year, to me, says there is something to it (though it very well could be what @Mrs. Bee: says). I wouldn't let it keep me from bringing my babies fever down, or my own fever down while pregnant, but it would discourage me from taking it for a headache.
