@highwire: Same as highwire. We have a joint Google calendar and it's synced with our phones and email accounts.

@Smurfette: We share a google calendar.
ETA: You need to invite him to be able to view your calendar, or vice versa.
Or it might be easier to create a new one for both of you to put your stuff on.
Go to settings - then "my calendars" from there you can create a new calendar, share your current calendar, etc.
Like I shared my home calendar with myself at work, so I can toggle my home calendar on and off as needed if I want to look up when DH is off work, etc.

@Smurfette: If you are viewing it on a tablet/latptop/desktop, there should be an option on the side bar on the left that says "Other Calendars" There is where you can add another calendar if you want to view your husband's calendar.

I just invited DH to view and have access to mine since I had most of the social stuff on there that we both needed to be at. He has a work calendar, but I don't really care to view that one or have it show up on our shared calendar.

@Smurfette: Yeah that's how it was for us as well.

there's a way to sync icals, without google, dh and I did it. I think you need to do it on your mac though--there's a tab called "sharing settings" under the "calendar" memo that you click to send an invite to someone else with an ical account
