I just got back from 3 hours in the ER with DD. 
Right at bedtime tonight she had a seizure and I am so upset. My sister has epilepsy so I am really worried

They made sure the seizure was not febrile (related to a fever), took vitals, bloodwork
(she cried so so hard!)... I have to get in to a specialist pediatric neurologist. I just wish this wasn't happening. I wish it was me not her!

@Greentea: so sorry, mama. Epilepsy runs in my family as well (I have an uncle, and 4 cousins with it). It is SO scary but manageable. How old is your LO?

That's so scary!!! My husband apparently had a seizure when e was around 9 months old that took him to the hospital in an ambulance! It ended up being nothing, and it never happened again (he's now 27!). I hope this is the case with your LO!!!
