It has been a really rough 14 hours. We went in this morning for an EEG and just got back. It was really hard to be so strong fo LO. They had to attach wires all over her head and the preparation made her delicate head bleed. She hated the whole thing and cried more than she has ever cried. I was able to help her a lot by singing her songs but it was really hard and broke my heart.
We have to wait until next friday to get the results from neurology when we can see the pediatric neurologist. At least we got in for the scan today. Poor LO she is such a good baby and I really had to not think about it or really take in the picture of her with wires on her scull.
But I know we had to... still really hard. I am suprised at how strong I was. We are estranged from our families and it was hard not to have someone to call for added support.
Hopefully it was just a one time thing. DH said the doc last night said that can happen... and some of you have given me that same hope! Thanks everyone.

@Greentea: you're doing great, its surprising how strong and weak you can feel at the same time. If you need to chat with a mom that's been through scary health problems I'll wall you my number. Just take everything one step at a time and don't feel bad if you need some time to scream or cry or chill
