My LO is ten weeks old and recently discovered his hands. He is seriously crazy for them! He loves shoving them in his mouth and sucking on his fingers.

He loves them so much he has started trying to shove fingers in his mouth while nursing! Not cool baby!

Last week I would have said his hands (and he does still love them) but the past couple of days he is crazy about his feet! And my boobs. And being naked. And having a blanket over his face for peek-a-boo. Crazy kid

Landon is 6 weeks and he is crazy about the most random thing in the world - ceilings! Especially if there's fans on them...half the time we're trying to talk to and play with him he just stared past us at the ceiling fan with his facial expression ranging from an open-mouthed amazed stare to furrowing his eyebrows and pursing his lips as if he's seriously studying it.
Of course, that means he likes mobiles too, since they're just like fans but with toys and music playing! He grins and coos anytime we turn it on for him in his crib or on his play mat.

LO is 17 months and he's obsessed with DOGS!!! he's the dog locator - whenever there's a dog walking by he will point at it and goes "Dog! Dog!" (one of the very few words he can speak) until they are far gone.
The 2nd obsession is remote control or anything with buttons. 3rd will be our cat. 4th will be books. Not to mention his burp cloth (his blankie) and iphone/ipad. I don't know where those rank because we attempt to hide them from him.

My LO is 7 months. She discovered splashing today and was really into smacking the water in the kiddie pool today! Ever since she was teeny tiny she's loved music and animal noises, so of course Old MacDonald is her favorite. I can get away with murder (changing her when she doesn't want to be changed, putting her into her car seat for the 10th time, etc. as long as I am singing that song!) Let's see... she's always grabbing for my cell phone, my necklace, and my hair. Oh, and she LOVES the dog. She's always looking for her!

He is also eerily calm in the bath and when we get him naked on his changing pad. He's exhibiting signs of nudist tendencies. Kid loves being naked!

@Arden: haha my sil told me my niece (her daughter) had just her head out and pushed her own little hand out to put it in her mouth. Ouch!

@wonderstruck: @grizz: my LO loves ceiling fans too (and lucky for her we have them in almost every room). There is a Jimmy Buffett song, "Little Miss Magic" that starts out, "Constantly amazed by the blades of the fan on the ceiling..." I always think of that song when LO is loving the fan!

She has been obsessed with her feet for weeks now ... they're in the hands any chance she gets. She also likes when DH beat boxes and drinking out of our water glasses! She's not so into food, but she's allllll about water in a cup

@wonderstruck: DD used to love her mobile SO much. It broke *my* heart when she started grabbing at it and we had to take it down. It kept her entertained for 20+ minutes every morning. Thankfully the one we had separated from the base that plays music ... so that's still in her crib and she still loves hearing it play
