LO is a year old and has started doing this thing where, if any mom (and sometimes dads too) crouches down to interact with their LO, MY LO likes to walk over and hug the mom. He'll do it with our friends (who all think it's cute... he'll just go over and kind of put his arms around them and lay his head on their shoulder for a minute), but he also does it to women at daycare when they're dropping off their kids. He doesn't cling or anything, he just goes over, does the head lean, and then backs off. I kind of figure that if you're at a daycare dropping off your own toddler, you can probably handle an unsolicited hug from someone else's toddler... but who knows. Would you mind if this happened to you with a kid you didn't really know, say at daycare dropoff or at a playground?
