I just started LoestrinFe 24. I'm feeling really hormonal on it. I'm worried about mood swings and weight gain. What have been your experiences on it?

I was on it for a while about a year or two ago. I didn't really have any problems with it compared to any other bc I'd been on...but that's just me.

I'm on it right now and i haven't had a problem with it. I'm actually switching to the generic next week. We'll see how that goes!

I was on it a couple of years ago. I was super hormonal and had some other issues. I got off quickly and switched to NuvaRing.

I'm on it right now and have been for years. I do get really moody that time of the month, and I have gained some weight on it also. Buuuut my period is sooo much lighter now than when I was on any other BC also my cramps are a lot better. So all in all I take the moodiness instead of having a really long and heavy period.
The only thing is that its pretty expensive. I have good insurance, but it's a tier 3 ( the most expensive) medication, I pay around $60\ month for it.

I was on Loestrin for a year. I didn't noticed any changes with it. I thought it was really weird that I had no changes while being on BCP.

I was on it and I thought it made me gain weight but not 100% positive about that.

I took this last year and loved it! The light/short periods were great and I don't recall experiencing many side effects (no weight gain). I think anytime you start a new pill though, there can be a transition where you feel a little crazy. Also, I think I spotted the first month, but no problems after.

I was on loestrin before I was switched to a generic version, then eventually something cheaper once it was available (love healthcare in the US!). But I liked loestrin and didn't notice any side effects. Sometimes it takes a few months for your body to get used to being on birth control, but if you don't feel more normal after that then switching is definitely a good idea.

I was on Loestrin FE and later switched to a generic version of it - I think the low hormone dose was good and I really liked how clear my skin got on it.
However, I always skipped the sugar pills and went straight into the real pills because if I allowed my period to come while one it, it wouldn't stop for weeks and weeks. And the iron levels really messed with my body's iron levels and I still have trouble keeping my iron high enough/low enough.
I didn't gain any weight on it.
