That hides all of my wobbly bits! I have one but it's soooo old lady. I prefer it to have a skirt (hard to not be old lady with a skirt) and not too expensive. Any suggestions?

@chopsuey119: Maybe the bees will be able to help both of us. Are you looking for your vacation to Florida?

I bought this bathing suit in black yesterday...I love it! It got awesome reviews from women of all sizes, and it really camouflages your midsection. It's a little expensive, but seems about average for a nice bathing suit.
ETA: And it's the opposite of old lady!!

@lawbee11: So so so cute! I'm just not comfortable showing my belly I'm pretty sure even with all that lace you could still see all of these stretch marks and rolls.

@lawbee11: That suit is ADORABLE! I almost want to buy it just so I'd have it for next year post-baby!
@artbee: I have no idea. I've given up on buying a swimsuit for this summer Good luck!

@Running Elley: Maternity bathing suits are the best! You don't have to worry about sucking in your belly in them

Lands' End is pretty much the only place I look any more ... they have a good mix.

@lawbee11: very cute but like @artbee: I would never be able to wear it with all my stretch marks and baby-tummy-pooch.
@artbee: I tried on a few maternity swimsuits for my post-partum body and they look frumpy. I think you need a bump to pull most of them off.
I tried on one that was cute from fashion bug, but they didn't have it in my size so I didn't buy it. Doesn't appear to be available online.
This is the one on my wishlist, a little spendy but it goes to the thigh and has ruching all over. totally cute and functional: http://www.victoriassecret.com/swimwear/one-piece/retro-one-piece-carmen-marc-valvo?ProductID=4534&CatalogueType=OLS
This is a tankini top with ruching that is really cute: http://www.landsend.com/pp/womens-floral-beach-print-tankini-top~237304_59.html?bcc=y&action=order_more&sku_0=::UU5&CM_MERCH=IDX_swimwear-_-women
love this one and is a steal at $85 - it's a "control" suit, I'm thinking of buying this myself: http://www.landsend.com/pp/womens-floral-beach-halter-solid-one-piece-control-swimsuit~237306_-1.html?bcc=y&action=order_more&sku_0=::BLA&CM_MERCH=IDX_swimwear-_-women-_-shop-by-silhouette-_-one-piece-swimsuits&origin=index

@Mrs. Yoyo: Thanks, I'll take a look.
@Coco Bee: Those are all very cute! I have a maternity suit that I don't mind wearing the bottoms for, I just don't like the tops. Maybe I can get the tankini top and wear it with those.

I've never tried them but I ordered one from Land's End today. They seem to have suits that give good coverage. There is free shipping for the next few days if you spend $50!!

I have the Athleta suit that @cocobee pinned and I love it. Just had my baby 6 weeks ago and it covers everything. Shows a lot of cleavage, but comes in bra sizes. You can adjust the length to make it come down lower or go up higher.

@Coco Bee: I love the lands end top you posted! So cute! I have a bunch of bathing suits from them & have been happy with how they've held up.
If anyone is thinking of ordering separates from them that isn't familiar with lands end bathing suit sizing, I'd order up for bottoms. The tops always seem plenty roomy, but the bottoms always seem to cut into the hip thigh area (right where you don't want it to!) and going up a size seems to make them fit right.

I have two tankinis from Athleta that I LOVE. The tops come in bra sizes and because the suits are meant to be for athletes (lol) they are supportive. Here's the link to the tankini page: http://athleta.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=46665
You can get a variety of bottoms to go with the tops; I believe they have a swim skirt, as well!

@artbee: If I start looking I'm going to search for something with shorts... I think shorts are more popular this year. I haven't started looking because I'm trying to see if I can make it without one..

You should check out cyberswim.com they carry the MiracleSuit brand and I've bought my last 4-5 suits there because they have great options for DD-cup, but they have lots of slimming options and some different bottoms including a couple skirts. They're a little more expensive, but totally worth it. I still wear a strapless suit I bought 4 years ago and its in great shape.
