Do you have anything you use from your childhood? I have this HUUUUGE blanket that my grandma made me when I was a baby... we still use it! I brought it every place I lived during college and after when I had my own place.. even now, DH and I use it during the winter months. I sleep with it as often as I can! I still touch the soft side of it as I'm laying in bed, it helps me fall asleep and I'm 28 years old!

It's okay, we can have 2 threads I had teddy & I still have him! I remember loosing him once at the supermarket & luckily someone turned him in!! I was sitting waiting for my mom on those big bags of dog food & left him there :X It was scary!!

I have something of a tactile obsession.... I have what Rob Sr. calls my "banky" which is just a comforter with a cotton duvet from Ikea that I got in college. It somehow got softer and softer as the years went by and it is the perfect softness now. I put it under my side of the blanket and sleep kind of swaddled in it. I have to wear short sleeves and short pants so I can feel the fabric against my skin.
I'm getting really worried because I had a matching pillowcase and since it's so low quality, it basically fell apart into threads. The blanket duvet is starting to wear thin in places and I know its lifespan is coming to an end.... I've looked and looked in Ikea and there's nothing similar. :T
Please tell me I'm not the only one with this tactile obsession!

I still have the yellow afghan blanket that was knitted for me from one of my Mom's friends when she was pregnant! I called it my "yellow blankie." I was super original. Lol. I'm probably going to hand it down to whoever is my first kid! I like that it's yellow so it's gender neutral. I remember when it was the *perfect* size to fit under my chin and cover my toes. Now it's too small.

Hubby and I have our stuffed animals sitting in our closet together. I have a Fievel doll from American Tale, and he has a stuffed dog named Wow Wow. We also have all of my baby blankets that were handmade.

I still have the teddy bear my dad brought home for me from a road trip when I was 6 weeks old. I still sleep with it every night- especially now that I'm pregnant. It's perfect for wedging under my belly to keep me comfortable sleeping on my side.

I have my blankey still, but we don't use it, as it is a small knitted blanket. My mom kept all our blankey so we can have them to show our future children, I think it's cool.

I have a Pocahontas pillow case that I keep folded inside whatever pillowcase I'm using. It was ripped down the middle many years ago so it's always been kept inside. That and my pillow that I've had forever! I don't actually use my pillow to sleep but I like knowing it is there with Pokey inside. I sound so lame!
