It's the beginning of the end. Anyone else watching?? DH and I re-watched the first half of season 7 this week because it's been so long that I needed a refresher. Can't wait for the premiere tonight!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: I told DH I couldn't even concentrate on the show because the hairstyles (mustaches included) were killing me!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: The mustaches were awful. It's one of the first things I commented on to DH. I have no idea who the waitress was...I don't actually think he knows her/has met her before? But I'm not sure. I feel like I need to re-watch some of season 1 because I don't remember the story line with Rachel very well.

@lawbee11: DS work up screaming a few minutes into the show and it took a little while to calm him down. DH had the DVR record the rest for me so I'll finish it tonight.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: no, she was the owner of Menken's dept store, so she was don's client. they had an affair and when pete was threatening to expose his true identity to cooper and sterling, he panicked and ran to rachel and asked her to run away with him. she said no and that was it. this was in the first season.

Didn't realize Rachel was Tara from SOA! Also, did anyone else notice Peggy's date was Brian from 'My So-Called Life'?? Am I dating myself here lol.

I can't wait to watch this tonight! (We always tend to watch the shows a night after they air live.)
That said, Mad Men had been one of my favorite shows over the past few years and I'm sad that this is it. I can't wait to see how they wrap it up.

@lawbee11: did you read that DB Cooper theory someone wrote 2 years ago? It's an awesome idea, but I don't think it's going to happen for the show.
I also think him ending back up in CA as dick is how it could end. You can never tell with that show!!
