Oh my gosh - I'm really shocked by this stat. I'm not even a huge fan of Clintons but to think men would vote in Trump. I had no idea how bad attitudes are among men in the US. This election discourse has been gross but I guess it's extremely necessary to really hash out.

Btw is anyone else also baffled by the irony of vigorously defending the 2nd amendment (because YOU CAN'T TAKE AWAY MY RIGHTS!!!!) while also promoting a repeal of the 19th amendment???

But seriously, women tweeting that they'd like to give up their right to vote. If only our educational system hadn't so failed these people... -

First, I'm questioning the validity of this poll. We'll see after the actual election, but it's not that hard to do some selective polling and pass it off as fact.
Second... I don't care who wins, I don't care how accurate that poll is, I want out of this country. Too bad I can't actually leave
Will have to settle for fighting this hateful thing any way I can, and frankly I don't think the election will be the end of it. Once you let the genie out of the bottle, you can't put it back in.

@lawbee11: thanks so much! And wow. Just wow. Although I do see a disclaimer on top that the polls may have been done too early to reflect the impact of bush-tape-gate. So maybe there's still hope for our men.
For what it's worth, I was surprised at first because where I live, the split doesn't seem to be by gender at all...

Every time I think I can't be more surprised by something in this election...This just hurts my heart to realize that THAT'S how (seemingly) the majority of men in this country think.

Have you guys read The Handmaid's Tale? Because this is how it begins, with women stripped of all their rights, access to money revoked, and eventually not even allowed to read, plus they are valued by if they can reproduce or not, not deemed fit if they were divorced, etc. it's scary.

The saddest thing about this election is how emboldened upfront hate has become. I always knew there were plenty of people (mainly, white men) who hate women and minorities because we all stole their jobs and don't know our place - and most importantly, don't respect their natural place at the top of the heap, regardless of merit or qualifications.....but at least before now they were somewhat kept in check and ignored. No more. Now they get the national spotlight. Disgusting.
