Anyone have experience making kefir at home?

No, my mom used to (does?). It's so much better home-made. Wish I knew how an had that kind of patience/skill/desire.

No but as a kid I used to absolutely love drinking kefir. yummy.

My mom makes it, but I haven't dared try my hand at it yet. I actually prefer her kombucha!

I can't find plain unflavored kefir around here so I was thinking about trying to make it myself.

My SIL used to make it but now she just buys the plain kind at Trader Joe's!
