@LAZB: Oh my god, those lines look so promising!
@fuzzypeaches: Thanks for asking about folic acid. Was wondering the same thing. And @Kaohinani, thanks so much for your expertise! This is so useful. Your chart is going so high--hope this cycle goes well for you! π€
@Sams Mom: Congratulations on all of your offers! Hope you find a great fit.

@Sams Mom: The night temping info is interesting. I could see doing it after I read before I fall asleep, but none of the info says if it matters what time you do it (ex. 10 vs. 11). Also agreed with others, your chart is bonkers. I'm sorry you don't have a clear sense of what's going on. That is my absolute least favorite part of all this, the uncertainty.
@LAZB: Unfortunately, I don't think I see it on the wondfo...
@Kaohinani: I've tried tracking cervical position, but it always stays really high until the day before AF arrives and then all of a sudden drops. And by really high I mean my pointer finger isn't long enough to actually feel it. One of the perks of being 5'11" I've read the same as @Sams Mom though, soft is a good sign for pregnancy.

@karenbme: the time of day doesn't matter, just how long you rest has to be consistent.

@breakouttheicecream: Thank you! And good luck with your BFP!
@karenbme: Mine is always SUPER high (and soft) at OV and med/high and hard before AF (* I never check during AF - ick! ). Mine never stays soft for long. Right now, with it being soft and closed, I would normally be excited and hopeful ... but with a low cervix, I'm not so certain. One more thing I will blame on P4. π€¦ββοΈ

@Kaohinani: I'm feeling a lot better, I still have a low fever though.
BBT is up a bit from yesterday, but it's still not looking that good.

@LAZB: I dunno girl I feel hopeful for you. I have peed on many an frer and some of yours are darker than any squinter/indent I ever had! The cheapies take foreverrrrrr. Maybe try a diff brand??
@Kaohinani: @karenbme: you guys both need to test. I am dying lol.
As for me, I knew I wouldnβt hold out and tested bfn at 7dpo (shocking, I know lol) not even a squinter evap or anything to obsess over. Im not feeling super positive. I get pregnant easily (which I think is part of the problem I hve decided my uterus is a bad judge of quality) but I have like no symptoms this time despite the progesterone and usually I am feeling it by now if Iβm going to bfp. Meh
@Sams Mom: your chart is cray! Have you had one like that before??

@paranundrum: I am glad that you are making a full recovery! Still hopeful that you get your BFP! π€

@fuzzypeaches: 7 dpo?!?!? That is crazy-early, girlie! The POAS addiction must be strong for you. AFM, I'm going to wait it out a bit ... I don't handle BFNs all that well π₯Ί so I am detaining the inevitable here. π€¦ββοΈ

@fuzzypeaches: Lol, I'm right there with you... My uterus has terrible judgement. Hopefully one of these days we'll both get lucky. Also 7 dpo is WAY too early to test, and I don't even mind seeing bfns. You're crazy!! I think I've decided to test on Sunday, but I still won't be surprised if it's negative.

@fuzzypeaches: I'm going to try to pick up more tests this afternoon, we are boarding our flight now

@fuzzypeaches: and @karenbme: I actually saw a study about this. That uterine cells "reach out" to help fertilized eggs implant. In most women, they somewhat discriminate between genetically good and bad eggs. But for women with recurrent loss, the uterine cells reached out to everything. I just joke that my uterus wants to be pregnant as badly as I do.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@Chuckles: Very interesting!
Unfortunately, in that case, my uterus is letting EVERYTHING pass it by bc it "doesn't" want me pregnant as much my brain and heart "does" want another baby.

Oh my gosh you guys... I noticed over the past couple of days that my resting heart rate on my fitness tracker has gone up ~5 bpm, and I googled what could cause it and one the things that was listed as a possible cause was pregnancy... All the others were like you stopped exercising, you're having a heart attack, etc. But I haven't changed my run schedule and I'm still under 60 bpm, so I don't think I'm having cardio issues... You cannot make this stuff up. #imsoexcited #imsoscared

Got my betas back today and they're not looking so hot. Progesterone is still too low, and the pharmacies with supplements have already closed for the weekend. hCG is increasing but not doubling. The nurse gently asked me to look out for symptoms of an ectopic or a miscarriage. More bloodwork next week to see if anything improves.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@breakouttheicecream: I'm so sorry you are going through this feeling of limbo.
If the nurse stated not to worry and to try not to look for "symptoms," I would try my best not to worry. I am amazed that there is no place open to pick up progesterone.
I will keep you in my thoughts.
clementine / 950 posts
@karenbme: thatβs always my very first sign!! Every time! Itβs just a weird shortness of breath and elevated heart rate!
@breakouttheicecream: oh man. Crossing my fingers for you. This sucks so much to be in limbo like this. How are you feeling?
@Kaohinani: the addiction is so real! But I had a positive at 7dpo once, and twice at 8dpo! The rest were 9/10. (And one I have no idea!)
clementine / 950 posts
@karenbme: @Chuckles: itβs totally a real thing! They call it βhyper fertilityβ or βsuper fertilityβ itβs obviously just a theory but itβs one consideration in recurrent loss. No real cure for it though - just wait to get lucky with a good egg? Who knows l.

@Kaohinani: Thank you for this kindness. You're the first to say not to worry, and it means a lot. Hope you have a relaxing weekend ahead.
@Fuzzypeaches: Just had my hopes up for more information today--and it feels like there's lots of information, it just makes everything more muddled. Still keeping my fingers crossed for you this month.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@fuzzypeaches: If it is "hyper fertility" that you all have; Sam's Mom and I have "hypo fertility" as in "can't catch a break." π€£
I get the need to keep up with trends. DS was a BFP on 9 dpo so I used to start testing at 9 dpo every month like clockwork. The most widely accepted day for the MOST implantations is 9 dpo so, considering THAT and that I don't get BFPs, I began to test later and later. Then I found my [non-pregnant] HCG runs low and would take exponentially longer to reach a HPT-measurable level ... So I began testing between 14 and 18 dpo. π€¦ββοΈ
(Keep in mind, DD was at around 6 weeks bc I had no clue I was KU! I, often wonder when I implanted with her.)
@breakouttheicecream: You are truly welcome. If at any point this weekend, you have concerns, need to chat, or have to get things off your chest; feel free to write on the board and we all will be here for you.
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@Kaohinani: same boat, didn't test until 28-32 dpo π€£ so I drive myself crazy wondering when/how early I could have tested.
I am having the worst cramps all of a sudden. Definitely going to take an OPK when I get home just to see what's going on.

@Sams Mom: Ooooh, I hope it is Mittelschmerz cramping and you will OV soon! π€

@karenbme: Very interesting that your RHR is higher. Lately, my BPM have increased on my FitBit. I haven't been doing anything strenuous. I've been blaming EVERYTHING on P4.
persimmon / 1419 posts
@breakouttheicecream: So sorry to hear this. I know how hard it is to do the serial betas and hear that the number is going up but not as much as they want. Being in limbo like that is so hard.
persimmon / 1419 posts
@fuzzypeaches: Totally believe it. I just wish there was more research into how to deal with it.
@Sams Mom: fingers crossed this is finally your Ov and itβll make your chart finally make sense.
@Kaohinani: It could be progesterone, but what I read was that as blood volume starts to increase your heart has to work harder to move the extra volume around your body, which leads to higher bpm. Same concept behind why pregnant women get winded more easily. Fingers crossed itβs a good sign for both of us. π€π€π€

What is going on?π€ I mean, less than 4% of ovulatory cycles do not show a definitive thermal shift, and 32% of ovulatory cycles do not afford a positive OPK, BUT ... I have never seen an ovulatory cycle that had both features of no shift and a weak LH or no LH rise. I am so confused. I do hope that this is not an anovulatory cycle!
persimmon / 1419 posts
@Sams Mom: Oh... π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ Iβm sorry, mama. Your cycle is crazy this month...
grapefruit / 4492 posts
I've decided that if I don't have a confirmed shift by Sunday (CD18), I'm looking at an anovulary. That is the magic number because my only other anovulary cycle had a bleed/breakthrough/period on CD19.
It honestly was probably stress induced from the last month that I've had. Although I don't know if stress can cause anovulary or just delay O.
