@CupQuakeWalk: CD 14 is posiive most definitely. And looks like it began to fade a bit later that day so that may even be ovulation day but CD15 could have an egg hangin around. Too.

How is everyone doing? I'm still waiting to get my positive OPK. I should get a flashy smiley tomorrow, based on past experience.

@MrsMccarthy: that's what I was thinking too. That I def O'd on CD15, but I could probably have an egg still laying around because I really don't know *when* it the day it happened. I am sick now, so I actually don't know if I am going to BD anymore. I vomited all last night, luckily we dtd early in the evening!

@littlek: hope you get that flashy smiley! if you get it tomorrow, we will only be a day or two off in poas days.

    cantaloupe / 6687 posts

@CupQuakeWalk: oh no! Hope you're better today. Good thing you were able to BD before the vomiting started!

@littlek: are you still using the CBEFM? Is it telling you anything super helpful?

@sandy: of course DH walks all disoriented into the bathroom at 3am as I am face first in the toilet bowl and he's, like (with a HUGE grin on his face), "Are you pregnant?" haha. I was like, "nooooo, baby, I wish. By the way: we need to have a long talk about how babies are made. I am def not pregnant 45minutes after we just had sex, sweetie."

@CupQuakeWalk: Oh no! Are you feeling better?
@sandy: No, I gave up on it.

    @CupQuakeWalk: LOL!

@littlek: too bad it wasn't the magic solution but I kind of figures it was too good to be true

@sandy: The sticks are soooo expensive. I figure I'm fine with my wondfos, which I looooove.

    Hello ladies! I've missed you!

I took a few days off from the threads due to AF arriving, but I'm back and feeling more positive now.

ETA to say positive, not helpful, lol.

I meant to say feeling more POSITIVE now, not more helpful, lol.

@littlek: How are you? Hows everything going with your next steps? When do you start treatments?

@AmeliaBedilia: I am CD4. AF was a day late last month (which really messes with your mind!), so now I am a bit behind you.

When does your DH come back for good? Soon, right?

Hello Everyone! I am always on these boards reading the thread so I thought I would finally join in on the conversation- it’s nice to have some support! I am on my 6th month TTC and right now I’m in the middle of the 2 week wait which is the worst…only on 2dpo so I can’t test yet ughh hate the wait !! I recently found out I had an under active thyroid and on the second month of being on meds –I’m really hoping this is the month! I feel like I am doing everything right including going to acupuncture 2xs a week! Just wanted to share my story and be part of this group

Friends, thank you for all of your support. The BD "fail" on Sunday led to more disappointment yesterday and ultimately, a HUGE falling out between DH and I. In a year of TTC, we've lost sight of how to love ourselves and love each other. We've put TTC as our number one priority, and to be honest, another couple of months like this one, and our marriage will be in shambles.

We're taking a time out. We MUST re-prioritize and put off TTC for a few months. We both need to be better to ourselves and we REALLY need to be better to each other. Our marriage has to be strong before we can be parents. I can't believe how far down this TTC road I've gone without realizing that he's not following the same path as me. He wants a child, he does, but he wants a happy wife even more and I have not given him that.

We are official NTNP for a few months. No more medication, no more OPKs, no more temping. I shed so many tears last night, I can't do it again, I really can't. I don't even think I'd be happy if I found out I was pregnant anytime soon. Because I'm not happy with myself right now, I'm not putting my best self into my marriage, and that's what we need to focus on right now.

So ladies, I'll be cheering you on, and I'll probably still check in from time to time. But no more POAS participation for me, I'm just a cheerleader now. Thank you all so much for your support, you have gotten me through some difficult times and I'm sure you will continue to offer me support in the future.

@sarahnicole218: Lots and lots of hugs. It sounds like a brief time out will be great for you and DH. I am so sorry you had a fight, those are the worst.

DH and I put way too much pressure on ourselves last month and it wasn't pretty. I am feeling a bit panicked that we might need a break coming up soon too.

My HSG is May 9th. I'm bummed that I have to wait soooo long, but hey, we're NTNP right now anyways, so maybe by then I'll be ready to get back into the swing of things!!

@mtex14: welcome! I have an under active thyroid too and take synthroid daily. I had been on it for several years (before getting married) and fortunately had no issue getting pregnant with my LO. Just not sure why baby #2 is taking awhile

@mtex14: Welcome! I can definitely relate to that "doing everything right" feeling and frustrated that it isn't happening.

@sarahnicole218: Awww, major hugs! I am sorry to hear how hard this has been on your marriage. I am glad you had the insight to work on this first. Maybe this will work out so that you will get not only a baby but a stronger marriage. I am sending lots of prayers your way.

@Boopers: when do you O? I'm usually CD15 with an 11-12 day LP, though I am trying to have more of a NTNP attitude since I get SOOOOOO disappointed. DH is leaving for work CD14 and getting back CD17, so I am trying to not get my hopes up.

In the rest of life, DH is finishing up his current work project and in 4 weeks, we won't be living apart during the week. (Currently 1.5 hours away so timing requires a lot of planning and travel.) I just found out I am extremely unlikely to get a job I had hoped for, so now looking for other options. I have a promising one that I just turned in my resume for. This would be much lower stress, and much easier to handle during pregnancy and being a mom.
