@MrsMcD: that really would be awful, I just wish I'd got it together quick enough to ask when I was going to have them, now that would ave been useful info!

Hi friends! Sorry I've been mia, just trying to resign myself to the face hat I'm not pregnant and will be taking a break next month bc DH is out of town. I'm currently cd 14. Spotting is still happening a bit I think. Less so. But AF due tomw. I tested bfn on cd11. Just gonna wait for tomw. I don't feel preggers at all.
I think I'm ok with that. I need an effing break!!!!! Saw my best friend this wknd. She is always so supportive and can't wait for me to have a baby. Knows we are trying. Always brings it up. I find myself getting frustrated. Like, hey I DO have other things going ok besides ttc!!! Can we please just stop talking about all things baby!! I'm not and I don't know when I will be but I'll let you know. Idk. It's getting nicer weather out. And I'm so excited for summer. And losing these ten pounds of winter weight. And getting all hot and happy and drinking in beer gardens and laying out on the beach. I still want a baby but I also kind of don't care right now bc I'm excited about other things too. Thinking we may ntnp for a whole.
Sorry end rant!!!

@buttermilk: I get you on wanting to take a break. I have totally been feeling that since this cycle started, but we're going to power through because we only have a couple more months before we'll have to start all over with a new RE, new insurance, etc (moving). my ideal break would have been now to avoid a Christmas baby but I know I'll be mad at myself if I give up these easy chances where treatment is lined up and deductible is fulfilled.
and I totally know what you mean about people asking too! I don't talk to anyone IRL about it but I still get questions since LO is 2. when I told people I had "news" - the moving - they all thought I was saying I was pregnant.
so anyway I think your plan to be laid back for a while sounds great!

Entering another TWW and so excited about it. Not. I freaking hate this part!!!
@buttermilk: Yay for a break! I hope you have fun and are able to start fresh when you're ready again.

@buttermilk: A break can definitely be a good thing. Are you still going to be around the boards?
I had accupuncture today, LOVE it! I'm moving to 2 times a week. I got my second day of flashy smiley, so one more flashy smiley before we hit scary solid smiley. Our goal is to hit 0-2, 0-1, 0 and 0+1.. wish us luck!!! We've been EOD this week. Hahahaha I'm sure you all wanted to know about my sex life.

@mrs. tictactoe: I do not like TWW.. everything about TTC is waiting... soooo tired of waiting...
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@buttermilk: Hey lady! I understand how you are feeling. But I think your plan sounds great!! NTNP is still awesome to do. You have your European vacation to look forward too. Beer gardens and beaches?!?! I could think about all of that all day long. I do hope you stick around here, though. Its not all downer TTC all the time, I don't think.

@littlek: I think I will start acupuncture next cycle. You are indirectly peer pressuring me!!!!!
And yes, @mrs. tictactoe: , the TWW kind of sucks. But sort of not. Just BD for fun when you feel like it. Try to enjoy your childfree life because you may find out you are KU this cycle! That's how I try to handle each TWW.

@MRSMCD you should def try acupuncture! I do it once a week and its so relaxing and def helps! It helped change my ovulation from 18-19 to day 16!
I just got my progesterone tested on CD 21 and got back my results 10.9- do you think this is okay? My dr was happy with it so I think i def ovulated. Just wanted to see other peoples thoughts
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@mtex14: I believe over 10 is ovulation. So, that's good. I think when I got mine tested I got a 12. Are you on clomid? If so, then they like to see above 15 I think....

@MrsMcD: go for it! The first time was slightly awkward. But the 2nd time was bliss. Soooooo relaxing, I fell asleep.

To my girls with a sense of humor who like to laugh:
I found this awesome "999 reason to laugh at infertility" website when looking up (for the millionth time) drinking during the TWW. http://www.999reasonstolaugh.com/
I'm sure I am not the first HBer to find that website, but I wanted to share here anyhow.

@mrs. tictactoe: right there with you..I pretty much drive myself crazy every TWW
@littlek: interesting...I've never tried acupuncture. Too funny how normal it is to share such details when TTC. I think we hit O-2, O-1 and O. I actually got cross hairs on FF and I felt slight flutters on my right side today (symptom spotting begins!). Wanted to also make it O+1 but it didn't happen. Oh well - that's life

Shoot. I'm top of the POAS list. But I don't plan to POAS! I'm 13 DPO with no symptoms.

@MrsMcD: You are strong woman! The only way that works for me is if I don't have any tests in the house. FX for you!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@sandy: I do not have any tests in my house. That's probably why its working!

@Snowdrop: so my TSH labs finally came back and I'm at a 4.7 which I guess is within the range of normal according to my OB's office :-/. Did your doc tell you under 2 is optimal for TTC? I made an appointment with my regular doctor so I can get a second opinion
pear / 1846 posts
@sandy: when I went to my new fertility clinic the doctor who is a fertility expert and the top napro doctor in the uk) said that TSH needs to be under 2.5 for TTC and for a healthy pregnancy. Unfortunatly anything below 6 is regularly seen as ok because ut is only at tgis poibt that you will start to be symptomatic (feeling cold, weight gain, tiredness) i would insist on it being treated!

How's everyone doing? Anyone doing anything fun this weekend? St. Patricks day is monday but my guess is people will be partying this weekend.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
I'm out.... Sucks...
On to cycle 11. I'm getting blood tests done on Monday to check for some fertility issues which I will discuss with my general family physician in April.
Until then, bottoms up!!!!! Oh I do love St. Patrick's Day, especially now that my last night more readily identifies me as Irish!

@littlek: Thanks lady. I was a little sad last night, but I may have just been being dramatic for the sake of being dramatic. I mostly don't like feeling like I'm not getting what I want or what I think I deserve. I do appreciate your hugs so much!
blogger / pomegranate / 3201 posts
@MrsMcD: So sorry. Hugs!!
@littlek: No plans, but I'll probably make corned beef and cabbage on Monday night. We were invited to a party on Saturday night, but I'm not sure if kids are allowed, so if not, we probably won't go. We're too broke right now to pay for a babysitter.

It's my birthday on Sunday :). We'll do the museum with LO and then dinner with the in-laws. Sunday we're going out to brunch with my family and then swimming with friends
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@sandy: @mrs. tictactoe: @doxielove: Thanks, friends. I don't really know how to feel about starting my 11th cycle TTC. No sense in being overly sad. I'm not going to try to create any more maca/royal/jelly/mucinex/baby aspirin potions. I may just down a bottle of champagne while in the jacuzzi Sunday night and raise a glass to all the other things in my life I am happy to have. (and then silently curse every pregnant girl I see or sense within a mile of me for the rest of the month.)

@MrsMcD: Is Monday CD3? That's good that you're getting the testing already and not having to wait! Thinking positive thoughts for you

@MrsMcD: Not gonna lie, the "maca/royal/jelly/mucinex/baby aspirin potion" sounds a bit gross, LOL!
