    @sarahnicole218: lots of hugs

    @littlek: good luck at your appt hope you get a great plan together!

    @Crystal: omg my DH hates blood (especially his own) and probably would have passed out on the spot. I'm glad it seems to be ok and I hope things are good to go when you need them!

    doing treatments really kills any little romance you had left in TTC. nothing like the nurse telling you "ok, you should have intercourse on this day and this day . . . ". last night I announced the schedule to DH. tonight (O-3), tomorrow (O-2), then we have to abstain until the IUI Friday morning, then we do Friday night (O) and Saturday afternoon (O+1). figure we are giving it everything we've got this cycle. luckily he is a good sport. and in some ways knowing O exactly from doing a trigger shot is helpful, no wondering and waiting on OPKs.

    @littlek: Do I just ask if they have my results or tell them I'm spotting (or whatever) too? I have to leave a message and they call back so I won't talk to someone right away.

  3. littlek

    @LindsayInNY: I'd do both. Ask for your results and tell them your spotting.

    @bhbee: that's good your DH is a good sport. Fx this is your cycle!!!

    @littlek: I called and left the most awkward sounding voice mail, LOL.

    @LindsayInNY: Bahahaha. Hey, remember when we had dignity and privacy when it came to our intimate bodies? Yeah, no longer. Thanks TTC.

  7. LindsayInNY

    @CupQuakeWalk: Dignity? Privacy? What are these things you speak of?!

  8. CupQuakeWalk

    @LindsayInNY: you know, that one time when we felt shy to talk about our ewcm with the receptionist or that one time when we DIDN'T call our OB to tell them that our breasts tingled? Those times.

  9. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

    @CupQuakeWalk: Right? Because I'm sure they love my voice mails about how I'm spotting.

    @LindsayInNY: I imagine getting this kind of voicemail is very normal for them! Fingers crossed you have nothing to worry about!!!

    @LindsayInNY: They get voicemails like that all the time, I guarantee it! At my second job, I always get the most bizarre voicemails and people call back over... and OVER. Medical offices hear it all, don't worry. And you have every right to get your results back in a timely manner, especially if you could be pregnant!

    @LindsayInNY: Privacy went out the door for me weeks ago. Sadly I'm an open book. I'm learning now I should be a little more careful who I should share information with after being burned this past weekend by supposed "friends." I'm hoping that your spotting is good news!!! fx!!!

  13. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

    @Mrs.Panda: I think that's why I feel crazy. Because after all this time, I still think "but I could be pregnant" every single month. I know at some point it's bound to be true but still.

    @littlek: I hear ya. I'm a little too open about our TTC process sometimes which I really need to stop. =/

    Went in for CD 21 testing this morning. It's technically CD 23 today, but I'm only 5 dpo, that's why I put it off a couple days. I have no idea what levels are normal, but they said it was at 16.2 and that was a good sign. I have my OB appt on Thursday for the Clomid check and to discuss my options if this cycle isn't the one for us. I'm definitely going to insist on Metformin for the next couple months of NTNP. I hope it helps regulate me without Clomid and an added perk would be any assistance in losing weight. We shall see!

    @littlek: and @LindsayInNY; Any results from either of you yet?

    @mtex14: seeing a BFN is rough, I agree. You aren't out til your out, so although its hard, still stay hopeful!

    @LindsayInNY: I think he tore just the smallest bit of skin. Amazing how much something so little can bleed so much!

    I am so glad you called- they are probably used to those, and the more info they know the more they can help! And I totally understand thinking that every month, I do too.

    @doxielove: @bhbee: He would be so embarrassed to know I told you all the story! lol

    @AmeliaBedilia: I don't know what to say either, lol. And I am also so glad to have everyone here to talk to. ♥

    @sarahnicole218: Big hugs and lots of love.

    @CupQuakeWalk: hahahahahaha, that seems like a distant memory. Does anyone remember when you didn't put your BDing schedule on a calendar?

    @littlek: I admire this. I am a closed book, except to you ladies on here.

    @sarahnicole218: I started a new post for all the advice I need, LOL. Or think I need?

    Just got back from RE all test results were normal but I had slightly elevated E2, which can mean that eventually I will have DOR or mean nothing at all. So, we are going IUI with 100 mg of clomid. He gave us 85% chances we would be pregnant in the next 3 months.

    @littlek: What wonderful odds!! I hope this cycle is your BFP before the interventions...but if not, it won't be long!

    My husband LOVED his sperm analysis results. He had RE repeat it several times and then DH went on and on about his boys.

    @sarahnicole218: above 10 is good. are you on clomid? They look for above 15 for clomid cycles.

  21. Miss Sarah

    persimmon / 1259 posts

    @littlek: This was my second Clomid cycle, but first time ovulating with it. So in that case, I'm happy with it.

    @sarahnicole218: yay for ovulation!!!

    @sarahnicole218: That's great your test came back normal and that you ovulated. And what is Metformin for? If it helps fertility and causes weight loss, sign me up!!

    @littlek: It sounds like your results are over all really good. IUI should do the trick. 85% chance of pregnancy is something to definitely feel hopeful over. Your husband's excitement is hilarious. I had to re-read your comment to see if he was telling his boys (i.e., friends) or just pumped over his boys (i.e., swimmers).

    @littlek: That's great odds! Yay!!!

    That reminds me of that video I think @MrsMcD posted.

    @LindsayInNY: I had a different CVS thermometer. I went out and bought the one you had, and I already like it much better.

    @LindsayInNY: Thanks for the updated list. I have such a hard time keeping track of our small group.

    Can I just say, again, how much I like our small 6 month + group? Its so much more manageable and the tone in here is just right. When the time is right, I hope we can start up an april 6 month+ POAS thread.

  34. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

    @LindsayInNY: thank you for updating!

  35. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

    @MrsMcD: I totally agree! We have a lot of late month POASers so I don't think we need a new April thread until the end of the month? Personally, I don't like new ones being started before then anyways (my two cents).

  36. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

    I don't mind new ones starting, but I almost with there was a continuous thread. I get so confused sometimes trying to keep track of everyone's dates and situations vs if we just had an ongoing one. I get why they do break up, though.

    Question for you charters:

    I just started charting last week, but I found out my thermometer SUCKED. I just bought a new one today- should I get rid of the prior temps, or just use my new thermometer starting tomorrow?

    Bonus question- how do you share your chart on fertility friend?

    (Said like a newb, I know)

    @MrsMcD: I agree! With a smaller group it's easier to keep up. :). Hopefully we will all be graduating to due date threads soon.
