@littlek: amazing odds! How wonderful that must be!
@Crystal: don't go mentioning 'little things' and DH's man parts in the same sentence or you won't get any action tomorrow haha
@sarahnicole218: those are really great levels. Byt i certainly wouldn't waste clomid on ntnp cycles. Still got my fingers crossed for you thus month though!

@Snowdrop: Hahahahaha, true. I mean, BIG things. SOOOOOO big, lol.

@littlek: @Crystal: I am always hoping that I get into a due date thread soon and that its with at least one girl I already know. I'd love to be in such a thread with you girls.

@littlek: those are amazing odds!!! So glad your testing came back normal and you can go straight to IUI + clomid if this cycle doesn't work out (FX still crossed!!!)

I really like having this smaller group...and can I just say it's really encouraging seeing the BFPs this month

@MrsMcD: metformin is a medication for ladies diagnosed with PCOS and it is supposed to help regulate your cycle, and might help with weight loss! Unlike Clomid, you take it every day, and not just temporarily...potentially for the rest of your ovulating years. **sorry for the late reply!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@sarahnicole218: Your response isn't even hardly late! So that's too bad to have to need the medication. But shoot... weight loss is an amazing side effect!! I wonder if I can take it for an off label use.....
persimmon / 1259 posts
@MrsMcD: Well, as far as I know, it's actually a diabetes medicine, and because a lot of people with PCOS are also insulin-resistant, it works for that too!

My temp dropped yesterday and today and I had the slightest pink tinge when I wiped...which usually happens for 2-3 days before AF arrives. Trying to stay optimistic but pretty sure I'm out this month. I'm 9dpo and it's CD22. Here's my chart
bananas / 9229 posts
I started progesterone last night. Still experiencing the faint brown stuff. Nothing when I wiped earlier though. I don't know if this is normal on progesterone? I thought it would stop?
coconut / 8475 posts
@sandy: aw, I really hope that's a fluke! I'm still hopeful for you.
I'm testing on Friday the 21st. Let's be honest people: air no way I can hold off until AF is late. Wish me luck
In the meantime, I wait for my cd21 results. Man, I hope I had a strong O.

@LindsayInNY: 11-12 days if I count to the day of full on AF...I usually spot several days before AF
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@LindsayInNY: I think the p could take a while to "fix" it because some of that spotting may have already been up by your cervix and you are just noticing it now as it comes down. So even if it stopped you could still see some old stuff. P can also cause spotting through irritation but doesn't sound like that has been an issue for you in the past?

Feeling crampy today. Hoping it means my follicles are in good shape for trigger tonight!
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@CupQuakeWalk: fx!!!
I have sore boobs today, so I must be pregnant... LOL..
bananas / 9229 posts
@sandy: Is it the usual sort of pre-AF spotting?
@bhbee: That could be the case... I guess I'll know more by tomorrow (if it stops or not).
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@littlek: this time they only had me do Monday. my follicle growth has been consistent across cycles so based on what they saw Monday they felt pretty sure I would be ready to trigger tonight. I'm a little nervous they didn't check again, but I also hate the 7am wanding, so I'm going with it this time.

I was spotting a bit yesterday, on CD11. Weird.
I used my new bbt today (thanks @LindsayInNY!!!)- would you erase previous temps with old thermometer?
@LindsayInNY: FX on spotting stopping with the p. Did the dr call you back?
@sandy: I'm still holding out hope for you!!!
bananas / 9229 posts
@Crystal: When did you start taking the previous temps - what CD? Maybe keep them in FF but mark them as "discarded," just in case you need them later?
Doctor called yesterday and said to take progesterone unless I have AF-like flow. I feel like a lot of my message wasn't conveyed to her though... Whatever at this point. =/
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@LindsayInNY: I started at CD6, and now am CD12.
When do you have your next appt? I hope the p does the trick, but I wish she had listened a bit more. =\
cantaloupe / 6687 posts
@Crystal: I hope your spotting stops I had the whacked out 15 day cycle earlier this month
@LindsayInNY: I hate the phone message game where someone gives the doc the message and you never get a chance to speak with them directly.
bananas / 9229 posts
@Crystal: When do you typically O? I know my chart would probably be fine without temps on those days since I O around CD20. But if you typically O around CD14, the missing temps might make it so that FF can't calculate O.
@Crystal: @sandy: I don't have any appointments scheduled now. I need a refill for the progesterone though because I only have 5 leftover ones at home. Although that might be enough for this cycle. It's annoying because I have to leave a message and then a nurse will call me back. The nurse also relayed the doctor's message to me but the story definitely changed along the way. Why would I take progesterone with a full-fledged AF flow?! Ugh.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@LindsayInNY: around CD14-16 usually.
Ugh, that's really frustrating! I hate dr telephone.

So my CD21 labs came back at 13.1 which is normal (want it above 10). Waiting to see whether doc is still going to recommend clomid
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@sandy: yay for O! You are working with OB, right? Normally, the next stop is unmonitored clomid even if you are ovulating on your own. They are saying clomid will help you ovulate stronger.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@sandy: My OB was going to recommend unmonitored clomid but I did not feel comfortable with that so I moved on to a RE.
cantaloupe / 6687 posts
@littlek: I really don't know whether I'll try it for one cycle or move on. At this pint I have labs with my GP next week and an appointment the first week of April bc I want to check out my thyroid levels. OB says over 4 for TSH is fine for TTC...and HBers say their RE said 1-2 is optimal for TTC. I want to see if my GP thinks changing my thyroid medication would help. She monitors it once a year and I can't remember what my levels have been in the past
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@sandy: I feel like OBs are more lax when it comes to test results than REs. My OB was totally fine with my test results and suggested keeping on trying and adding clomid. However the RE suggest a high dosage of clomid and IUI. Because of my age, I like the more extreme approach. B needs to be a big brother STAT. LOL
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@sandy: that's great it's normal. I agree with @littlek, I don't know how id like unmonitored... Good luck with the thyroid levels, I'm glad it's a fairly soon test!
@littlek: It seems early... I was CD11 yesterday, and lately I've been ovulating CD 15/16. I don't have any other symptoms of O in terms of CM, but maybe?
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Crystal: he will be 2 at the end of May. This was from a week or so ago.
