@Aria: In my case it took about 2 months for me to put on weight. I honestly can't say if it helped or not but it can't hurt you so long as it's a healthy range for you. What i wouldn't do is worry yourself silly over it. I have been an insane person with my diet because im hoping it helps me get pregnant while nursing and i honestly think it has done me more harm than good in terms of my sanity. Now i take a more middle of the road approach.

@septca: I haven't seen a doctor at all yet because this is a fairly new problem. It is only the last two cycles that have been long, and before that I was ovulating regularly every 30 days or so. I definitely will though if it continues to be a problem.

Big temp drop this morning. Hoping AF is around the corner so I can get out of limbo.

My nipples are so freaking sore and puffy/swollen. I'm not temping, so, my O-date is a OPK-based guesstimate, but, I'm somewhere 4-6 DPO. This early, this has got to just be adjustment to having the Mirena out, right?

@lilyofthewest: it could be hormone adjustment. I had that after going off the pill last time. But you never know!
nectarine / 2079 posts
@lilyofthewest: *shrug* everyone is different and hormones are weird. FX!

@Adira: I have been following your chart, I am sorry you've been having such a confusing cycle! I do hope that it's over for you soon whether it's BFP or AF!
I just want to say thank you bees for venting alongside me yesterday! I vented to DH too, and he was incredibly kind & supportive. I know it's a stupid thing to get all worked up over, I expect you guys to understand but I was surprised he didn't just tell me to suck it up!
We DTD last night since we had already missed Tue. Then he surprised me this morning again! And both time he initiated too! I am so touched that he is trying even harder than me knowing how much a BFP would mean to me. So I def feel MUCH better today (unless I find out someone else is pregnant )

@snowjewelz: Thank you hon! And that's so awesome how supportive your husband was! It's so nice when they surprise us like that! And yay for him initiating some baby-making!!!! Good luck to you!

@Adira: I love that you had been so consistent w/ updating your chart w/ info this cycle! I've been so bad so far, missing temping & OPK!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@snowjewelz: hahaha, I spend all day obsessing over my chart so I HAVE to keep it up-to-date!!!
honeydew / 7295 posts
@lilyofthewest: I wouldn't rule it out at all. Some people's bodies regulate super fast. FX you're one of them!
@Adira: girl I hope you get some relief somewhere. I mean I really was hoping it would be a BFP but the second best thing is a fresh start. I can't recommend enough that you try the B6 this next cycle too. Make sure you take it as a B complex.
@snowjewelz: aww what a sweet hubby. I'm glad you feel better. I hope you will be able to have a hearty laugh over it with a BFP later this month.

@snowjewelz:
@Adira: How many nursing sessions are you down to now? This is my first full cycle since really cutting back (we are down to once per day) and I am *finally* starting to see a return to my normal.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MrsMccarthy: Well, if AF does show up today, despite what FF thinks, I believe I probably DID ovulate earlier than last cycle AND have a longer LP than last cycle, so I think I'm on the right track (assuming my assumptions are correct, haha)! I'll look into a B complex vitamin with B6!
@septca: This week I'm down to 5 nursing/pumping sessions! Next week will be 4, and then 3, etc. I'm hoping when I'm down to 1, things will get back to normal normal like you!! Though that might mean this next cycle (assuming it starts today/tomorrow) will be a wash since I'll still be nursing/pumping a good amount for half of it.

@Aria: I definitely think it's worth getting checked out (it's a simple blood test) - and it may not have any affect on your cycle length. I have a close friend who has two kids and 2 m/c - all 4 pregnancies took 6+ months to achieve, but all her infertility tests came back normal. They really wanted a third, and after 9 months of trying, decided to do IVF. Their pre-IVF tests included a thyroid screen (no clue why she never had it tested before then) - ding, ding, ding! Her thyroid was just slightly off, but she saw a nautropath and changed her diet and was able to fix it without medication. She got KU the month after her levels returned to normal and is now 18 weeks. A long story with a happy ending, but I share it because before seeing my friend go through this I had no idea how much your thyroid can impact TTC and always wondered why my MW tested mine so often. Now I know.

I'm out of limbo!!!!! AF is here!!!!
Which means I'm a rollover. No POAS in March for me (except for many many OPKs)!

@Adira: Congratulations! Limbo is the worst, it's basically my life...lol. FX this next cycle is the one for you!

@Adira: Feels weird to say this, but I'm happy for you! Being out of limbo is great, even if not with the hoped-for outcome. Crossing my fingers for you for April, friend!

@Adira: Yay! Fresh cycle! It's weird to congratulate you on AF but I know it must be such a relief for you at this point!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@sarahnicole218: @mfa_lady: @snowjewelz: Thank you!! While I'm sad that there's no BFP in my immediate future, I am soooooo happy to be able to start fresh! I ordered a big pack of Wondfo OPKs yesterday so this cycle I will be temping, checking CM, checking CP, AND peeing on OPKs all day long!! I'll also be weaning Xander down to nursing only once a day, so hopefully there's a BFP somewhere in my future soon!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
Also, while FF refuses to admit that I ovulated last cycle, I personally believe I probably ovulated CD 28, which would be 8 days earlier than the cycle before AND mean my LP stretched from 7 days to 10, which is all progress in the right direction!!
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Adira: okay so totally sad you wont have a baby this month but so relieved you get to start fresh. I really hope that March/April are the months that your cycle regulates and you see a bfp.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MrsMccarthy: @Radish: Thanks ladies! I'm sad too, but mostly I'm just relieved to be out of limbo hell! AND I get to take a break from BDing!!!!! That's horrible, but I was so sick of it, haha. Non-baby-making sex is so much more fun.
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@Adira: Well, I'm sorry about AF, but glad that you finally have closure on this crazy cycle!! Yuck. Hopefully the next one is better, and I'm glad that at least your LP was longer this go-around

Any news from the ladies who are POAS today?! Now that I'm just sitting here waiting to O, I need POAS updates to keep me occupied!! C'MON girls!

Seriously! We need some BFPs on this board! I hope we see some soon.

I finally started getting some blinky estrogen smiley faces! Looks like my O is just a little tardy this cycle. Here is to hoping I get a solid smile in the next day or two. Yay! Im REALLY excited this cycle, maybe that is a good sign!

@Adira: boo/yay just about sums it up! good luck this month!

@ChiCalGoBee: thanks for cheer leading and thanks for breaking the ice for BFPs! How are you feeling lately?
@Brawly: hooray for O! Are you still nursing your LO too?
cherry / 173 posts
@MrsMccarthy: No, I wanted so badly to breastfeed and it was amazing for the first 5 weeks. But than poor LO had to be put into a leg brace because she had hip dysplasia. It was very uncomfortable for her and on top of the colic she had she was a very angry little baby and she would just scream at my breast which just killed me. I tried pumping for another month and a half after that and I my milk supply just died... I finally gave up when she was 3mo. I am hoping that this go around things go better because I loved it those first 5 weeks.
