I wasnt in all maternity clothes until close to 30-32 weeks, which for me was in the summer. I had 2 maternity pencil skirts, probably 6 or 7 dresses, and a bunch of tank tops that I would wear with non-maternity blazers or cardigans. I also wore a ton of maxi dresses with blazers and long necklaces to dress it up. I had a pretty big stash, but I wore most of it on weekends as well, so it wasnt like an entirely separate work/play stash

I have a pair of wide leg black dress pants that I wear 1-2x/week now. They are the ONLY pants that fit. I had a pair of dress capris that I loved in the fall, a pair of dark jeans, and a pair of khakis that I regularly wore. Plus a few dresses and skirts sprinkled in. Mostly I wore those casual t-shirts with sweaters and cardigans or nicer looking tops. I was able to wear men's polo shirts until about a month ago, so I would steal my husband's and wear them with the khakis. I have three thin sweaters in my closet that I'd wear when it was really cold, or if i was going to be outside. And i had a couple of long sleeved nicer stretchy type shirts that would dress up or down. I have a very casual office, though, so Fridays were always jeans, tennis shoes, and t-shirts. I've gotten disgustingly casual lately.

If i had to dress nicer, i'd probably go with khakis and polos 90% of the time. I'd just have to have a bigger size pair of khakis for the last 6 weeks.

We are a business casual office, and jeans are allowed on Friday's. I have 4 pairs of maternity pants for the week, and then I wear jeans on Friday. I had friends lend me some tops and what I bought, I probably rotate every two to three weeks or so. I don't have wear dresses since it is winter, tights didn't sound appealing, but if it was summer I would have bought dresses to wear. I still wear pre-pregnancy cardigans over a maternity shirt, just can't button them.

@T.H.O.U.: One of my favorite places to shop for sweaters/cardis is Banana Republic . . . they have awesome sale racks! If you want to shop online, Victoria Secret (for the cashmere blends) is a great place to look for longer sweaters/cardis.

I mostly wear dresses and skirts, so I only have two pairs of work appropriate pants - and I almost never wear them.

Stuff in my regular rotation:
-denim pencil skirt
-black pencil skirt
-about 3 or 4 maternity dresses
-3 or 4 non-maternity dresses that still work - some I had already, some I bought while pregnant and just sized up from my normal size

-a few other cotton tops that work with blazers or cardigans that I already own (my favourite are the extra soft ones from Gap maternity)
-5 or 6 different cardigans (again, some maternity, some not)
-one maternity blouse (I would have bought more, but I hate ironing!)
-maternity leggings in black and grey
-black maternity tights
-I wear jeans on Friday

I do a lot of mixing and matching of different items, and accessorize with belts and scarves (today I'm wearing a black pencil skirt, black tights and a black cotton shirt, with cognac riding boots and a really bright and colourful scarf) to keep things interesting. I've actually been quite happy with my maternity wardrobe

@hergreenapples: I wear those scoops from Motherhood too! Love them.

We are business-casual, and I'm also in a hospital setting...So I have three pairs of maternity scrubs, and for my office days I rotate a pair of Motherhood leggings, 2 pairs of Gap AlwaysSkinny maternity pants, and a few dresses. For tops, I have about 6 maternity shirts and tanks that I wear with my regular cardigans. I wear the same stuff a lot, but I try to always mix it up with a different piece or different accessories. Scarves hide a multitude of 'Didn't she just wear that on Monday?' sins
