What are your favorite leggings for pregnancy? I'm pretty sure all I have from last time is a hideous, faded 100% cotton pair 
If you don't have favorite maternity leggings, what is your favorite that are high waisted that I can wear maybe through 2nd tri and again postpartum.
Please comment on how they withstand machine washing/drying. Thanks!

Following! I am currently wearing Lululemon the Align pant in black. Love them as they come up nice and high. I wear the same when not pg too.

@Autumnmama79: do you machine wash them? I would totally splurge on them, but the reviews make them seem so fragile and delicate. Are they pilling at all?

I wear my align pants. I also have a pair of blanqui maternity leggings that are awesome now that the bump is gigantic
ETA I wash my aligns in the washer with my regular laundry. I just make sure they're inside out. I even dried them once by accident. No pilling and they are almost 6 months old

@SweetCaroline: I do machine wash them weekly and hang to dry. Only complaint is that they pill where my thighs touch but it’s not visible. Plus I recently learned you can take pants back that have pilled and they will replace them no charge!

I loooove my Zella mamasana maternity leggings. They're out of stock in my size fairly often so I wish I would've bought two pairs!

@SweetCaroline: I get the basic gap ones. DD is 4 and many pairs lasted years with frequent washes. I just bought a few new pairs.

Ingrid and Isabelle active/sport crossover maternity leggings. They are so great, I’ve worn mine through two pregnancies, still wearing them at 7 months pp, they never pill or show wear. Also they’re marketed as workout gear but are totally matte, I’ve worn them many times to my job which I have to look nice for. The catch is they’re $88

I was fine with cheap gap ones. Still wear them sometimes when I need to do laundry. I don't think they're quite stretchy enough to work well at the very end of pregnancy, but besides that were great...

@youboots: @periwinklebee: Thanks guys! Strangely enough, I haven't ever bought leggings at Gap, though half my wardrobe is from there. They have a great sale right now, so I'm going to scoop some up.

@SweetCaroline: never, and I looked hard, but they are perfect and worth it. I'm wearing them today and even though I wore them straight through two pregnancies and my stomach is basically flat at 7 months pp and I'm back to my normal weight, they still fit wonderfully. they're really, really well made--I work in fashion and raw materials and construction are something I deal with daily. get them!

Another vote for Ingrid and Isabelle! Lo2 is 2 and I still wear mine alllllll the time. I got a few pairs on amazon that were only like $30, though that was now like 2.5 years ago....

I’m still wearing my Lulu Aligns too. I’m not very careful with them and don’t have any issues with pilling. I also bought a Blanqi pair that I like but I think they’ll be better when I’m a bit bigger (27 weeks now).

I just got a pair from h&m. They are comfortable and a good price since I’ll only be wearing them for a few more weeks
