I preferred the full panel and I bought Paige with the full panel.

I've been seeing tons of lower ones with little stretch panels sewn into the sides. I saw them at Pea in the Pod the other day.

I also sometimes would fold the panel down. If I wear a tank top over they stay up fine.

I liked the low panel in the beginning, but eventually, my shirts weren't long enough for me and I liked having the panel because it saved me from having to tug my shirts down lest someone see my bare skin at work. I'm just too tall for that style. I do have a pair of skinny jeans in that style and they are comfy and I do wear them, but only with tunics and the like.

I like the full panel now that i'm 8 months pregnant, though. Before, it just annoyed me. It does help them stay up, though.

I had 2 pairs of Paige maternity jeans and both had the side elastic. Like this :

I absolutely adored those jeans and wore them comfortably until 33 weeks or so. I swelled really terribly at that point and had to go buy a pair if full panel jeans from gap, which I loved at that point, too. But if you're not a sweller, I can't recommend those side elastic jeans enough. Really, even if you do swell, I still recommend them until you can't squeeze your ass in them anymore. They were really great jeans.

I also liked full panel...It made my bump feel snug as a bug:). I also second pea in the pod though for trying jeans with both...They may even have the Paige's you are wondering about. I bought some AGs with the full panel from there and I wore the crap out of them:)

I prefer the full panel. I won't even wear my jeans/pants with the demi panel from the Gap, so uncomfortable to me.

I have only tried the full panel but I like it. I am 5ft 11 with a long torso too and I just prefer to be covered.

The demi panel pants were really uncomfortable for me. I bought a few pairs from the Gap because they were the only style the pants I wanted came in but I didn't really wear them much past 6 months. I loved the full panel- I had the boot cut Paige jeans that I found accidentally at the Bloomingdale's outlet. Only issue was that they were super long- like the regular designer denim- so I had to pay to get them hemmed. Although they looked cute, they weren't really my favorite pair of maternity jeans because they were really low cut (where the jean part ended and the panel began in the back).

I'm 2 days shy of being 13 weeks and I have pair full panel maternity jeans. So far, it's really comfy although the panel does slide/roll down a bit as s the day progresses. I'm thinking it's because I don't have much of a belly yet to hold them up. At home, I wear my pants below my belly and it's pretty comfy and allows my belly to "breathe". I did try on one pair of underbelly jeans at the store, and it didn't feel as comfy as the full panel one. The store I tried was Motherhood Maternity.

Early in my pregnancy, I preferred the demi panel, but once I started to get bigger, I preferred the full panel. The only problem was that I was 8 months pregnant in August, and the full panel was sooooo hot for me. I would fold it down when I was outside and not in air conditioning. My stomach also itched like there was no tomorrow...so the panel made that worse too. But to stay up, I preferred the full!

I got a few of my demi panel stuff at the Gap. They have the different panel types for most of their pants!

I love my pants with a panel...it makes my belly feel better supported.

@Anagram: Those cobalt blue skinnies are AWESOME, where are they from??

I'm only 10 weeks, so haven't started shopping for maternity clothes yet, but it's only a matter of time...

I LOVE full panel mat jeans. They're super comfy and they also give me a nice shape

@Boogs: Where are those first pair (cobalt blue) from?? I love them!

I love the full panel for my entire second trimester... but once I was into my third tri I hated anything on my stomach and ended up folding the panel down. I really wished I had a pair of underbelly jeans!

I will get some for my next pregnancy.

I am 22 weeks into pregnancy, but so far, I love the full panel. I second that Gap definitely has demi panel. I am not a fan, but I have friends who love them.
