i never bought them until i was preggo last summer, and i fell in love. but it was hard to find ones long enough for my tall frame (5*7-5*8)... i chose comfort over length when i bought the maxis last summer, but haven't worn any this summer because of the length issue.

Yay for maxi dresses! And also maxi skirts! I'm tall (5'10") but the length thing never bothers me...I'd rather have them slightly too short than dragging on the ground/needing to be hemned/requiring high heels

I rock them even though at 5'2" I'm probably too short. Whatevs. Also, since my thighs love each other and rub together, spanx underneath is a must.

Nay because I'm short and all maxi dresses are SUPER long. I'm too cheap to get them hemmed so I just buy shorter dresses that are of the same material instead. It's hella hot in TX any way so it works out well.

Yay! I find the ones from JCrew are nice and long, I am 5'4" and if i wear them with wedges, I still need to hem them a few inches.

Love them! Wish I had been more pregnant during maxi dress season! I haven't worn any yet this year due to BF'ing and worrying about tripping and falling while holding the baby! (I'm 5'4" and they're usually long on me.)

Yay! I'm wearing one right now...a maternity one. It's so comfy I'm still rocking it even though I'm not pregnant anymore.

I love maxis! I sometimes have trouble finding ones that are long enough, but I have found a few that are and I have to snatch them up!

I LURVE me some maxi dresses!
I'm 5'10" and do sometimes have to search extra hard to find them in the right length. My favourite one is from Max Studio and it is floor-skimming length. I also have two from ON - I ordered them in the tall length. Oh, and I have a maxi skirt from Ann Taylor that is also plenty long. Have one more on the way from Boden and I ordered it in the tall length...hopefully it will be long enough.
