I need help with middle name ideas for a girl. I'd like to name this baby after 2 of my aunts who have passed away. Their names both started with R, but neither name is one I'd really like to give our daughter. I like names that are fairly traditional but not too popular. For reference, DS's name is Spencer. We've also ruled out several names based on either negative associations or names of other family members: Rose, Riley, Ruth, and Rachel. Any ideas? Thanks!

@Pollywog: I was thinking about Reese, but for some reason I hadn't considered Rebecca. That might work. I like Ruby, but two of the names I like best for first names end in a long e sound.
@CatchAFallingStar: I hadn't thought about Renee. I'm not sure how I feel about it, so I'll ask DH for his opinion. -
@CatchAFallingStar: thanks! Those are pretty. I do like Reese and Rowan. I might like Rosalie but it might be too close to Rose (evil ex-stepgrandma who my dad and uncle hate).

I went to school with a Rowena, in case you like Rowan but want something more feminine.
It really depends on how the name flows with your first name.
I like Reese as a middle name
My daughter’s middle name is Roth, which is her grandmother’s maiden name. It is a German and Ashkenazi Jewish name, and it means red or red-haired.
