Our 10 month old is a champ at going to sleep, and we're on a good 3 nap per day schedule. We just recently got her sleeping in her own room. The first night, she slept through the night), and almost every night since, she's waking up between 12-3.
Usually my partner goes in to soothe her, but that rarely works, and he brings her into our room, where we'll all sleep til morning. Most of the time, we are "sleeping" since she's mostly kicking us, and rolling around.
Last night, I got up (at 1), and tried to soothe her. I read her a book, sang to her, and she fell back asleep ... for 5 minutes. We let her cry for about 10-15 minutes, but when she got hysterical, we went in to get her.
I know it'll take more than 1 night, but I also know she's fully capable of sleeping until at least 6 (as she's done it many times before).
What should we try? We're ok with a little crying, but not too much.
it's so hard once they become more aware...we did CIO to initially train but it seems so much harder now to let her cry.
But she may just need a little calming down. Once in awhile, E just needs a little milk and back down she goes
