Has anyone gone to a CVS Minute Clinic for a suspected ear infection for your LO? We just moved and haven't gotten established with or even decided on a new pediatrician. I'm getting suspicious that my 3 year old is developing an ear infection (again) and wondering if that's an option.

You can go online and see what your local ones treat. They should have a list.

@MrsSRS: Oh, I didn't realize that! They do diagnose ear infections and treat toddlers so I suppose it's fine. Though I'm hoping she wakes up tomorrow seeming better and it doesn't come to that.

@Foodnerd81: We haven't but I would. I hate that we have to go into the doctor every time for just a look in the ears and possibly antibiotics. Last time we called our neighbor who is a doctor and asked if he would look in his ears with his otoscope and he kindly did. No infection that time.

@travellingbee: what really sucks is we are one or two ear infections away from getting tubes, so I'd really rather see our regular doctor, but I'll deal with that if it becomes an infection.

I would choose a pediatric urgent care over a minute clinic if you have the choice.
Our minute clinic is useless. -
I have! My daughter was diagnosed by NP at a minute clinic with a double ear infection. I thought it was a good experience, but we did follow up with our pediatrician 2 weeks later to make sure they had cleared up.

We've gone to the target clinic and had a good experience. Nice to have a one stop shop for a diagnosis and prescription and probiotics (for while on antibiotics), etc.
