Did you stop getting your period on Mirena? I had it inserted about 2 years ago and my periods have been super light. This is the first “cycle” that I haven’t bled. I’m to the (paranoid) point of buying a damn pregnancy test. What is your experience?

Yes - between two Mirenas I had 9 glorious years of no periods! But I did take the occasional paranoid pregnancy test.

My cycle hadn’t returned when I got mine put in, but I never bled with it and I had it for almost 3 years! Usually your periods get lighter until they go away altogether but you could always do a test to ease your mind!

I've had mine for just over two years, and I'd say my period finally stopped about four or five months ago. It was super light before that.

I got it in two month after Lo2 was born and haven’t gotten a real period. I have a few days of spotting but it’s not that regular and not enough to convince myself I’m not pregnant. So I’ve taken a couple paranoid cheapie pregnancy tests just in case.
