I just flipped back to the blog posts I wrote the month following DS's birth. It is really making me miss his newborn days. How little he was and being able to hold and cuddle and nap with him all day long. I'm so sad that those days are gone.

I miss the early days too! I thought things were tough back then, but.. uh. All she ever did was eat sleep poop! What was I complaining about?! Now she's a freaking energizer bunny!

Awww, they do grow so fast. I am a bit torn about it. On the one hand, she did sleep a lot....but on the other, she didn't DO anything. So I think I still prefer having a toddler. Now we always have cute conversations. It is more enjoyable to me I think.

I can sympathize, I think I have gone through that the whole time I've been a parent (3 years). But there are times that I want certain stages to pass and get easier and then I miss certain aspects and forget how bad I wanted those phases to pass. Even though newborns are so special and exciting, craving sleep is all I could think about during that time! I think it's best to live in the moment, easier said than done but I will really try that with LO #2.

I agree, I miss my cuddle bunny. Now if I try to cuddle with her she squirms out of my arms.
