So LO has been a good sleeper ever since the fourth trimester ended and she became a reliable crib sleeper. She's always been great at falling asleep on her own and while she's never STTN, her MOTN wake ups are brief and to the point - eat and back to sleep. When she learned to roll over in the crib it took her a little while to adjust but she loves sleeping on her stomach and it wasn't a big deal. Now she just learned how to sit up on her own (she's been sitting up unsupported for months now, but only just recently learned how to push herself there on her own a week ago, and now in her zipadeezip in her crib) and then pull up in her crib, and also just learned to crawl. She's also busting out a bunch of teeth, just to further complicate things, though in general those haven't seemed to effect much so it's been hard to know what is teeth related and what isn't, since her first 2 appeared out of the blue without any warning.

Anyhow - now she is a hot not sleeping mess! She wants to sit, cruise and cry for most of the time in her crib when we put her down for a nap. Routine hasn't changed at all. She used to get smiley when we zipped her into her zipadeezip, now she tries to roll away from it and it's a wrestling match. She sits up, bounces, and cruises. The nap she's taken today took 2 attempts, the first one she cried unless I was holding her (and she's not usually a cranky baby!) and DH could get her to stop crying in the crib but she still wouldn't sleep. We had to abort the nap for 30 min for an errand and then when we came back I got her to settle in her crib without crying and she bounced/cruised and then finally collapsed in a heap. I did give her some ibuprofen earlier which I think helped the crying but DH thinks it's a coincidence. I have no idea how she'll go down for nap 2 with this one being so late.

Do I just need to wait this out? Is her little brain just exploding from the world that's opened up with her mobility? I'm just at a loss of what to do when she's bouncing/cruising and crying. All my usual go to's before she could sit up in her crib haven't worked. And while CIO probably would work well I just can't do it, I have nothing against it I just can't handle it! I've camped out during other transitions but that didn't soothe her at all this time.

Advice? What did you do during this stage?

Also, I need go to teething proof the crib! I think there is a baby beaver in there!
