We just got our car seat out of storage (grandmas basement) and it's got mold. The seat cover I can wash, but there are mold spots all over the straps too.

What would you do? I can see about ordering new straps, but it's an older model (graco snug ride classic connect, with a 22 lb limit) so I'm not sure if I can still get them. This is our last baby and I already have the stroller adapter for it, so I'd rather not buy a new one... But I also won't compromise a newborn's health and safety over the cost of a car seat, of course.

Ugh. I knew we should have gotten it out of storage sooner to check for this kind of thing. Baby is due in less than 5 weeks!
