My DD has DEFINITELY said her first word now, at 8.5 months. Alllllll weekend she's been looking at or for my DH saying "Dada!" It's so flipping adorable and it made him so happy that my heart just melted.

My son went to the potty for the first time tonight! My daughter did it last week, exactly!

Aww yay DD! That's so cute.
DS1 told me yesterday that (DS2) is "such a good little brother" ... Love it! That's all I got haha.

I put DS#2 down for tummy time for the first time and he rolled from tummy to back! I thought it might be a fluke, but he did it three more times!!! He's 6 weeks old

@NurseMommy:
B has been babbling "Mama" nonstop. Sometimes he yells this abrupt "Mom!" when he is in the backseat of the car. I'm not convinced he associates it with me but it melts my heart anyway!

Yay first words!! I think Xander's first word was "Dada" too, but he said it to EVERYTHING so I didn't count it until he finally started saying "Mama" too, haha.
Xander's currently trying to say "Block" and it's sooooooooo cute how he struggles with it!

Adorable! The words are my favorite milestone by far. LO has just started trying to repeat everything and it is beyond cute. He is saying 50+ words now and just turned 18 mos on Saturday!

So cute!!
I know everyone probably wants me to shut up about this, but I am loving seeing R walk around. She will fall but she stands right back up and keeps going.

@NurseMommy: that is awesome! My daughter has been saying dada for a little while now, but we weren't ready to call it her first word until this weekend when it became clear she knew what it meant!
Also, I think that last night she was trying to sign "more!"
Almost makes up for the fact that she was awake from 9:30 until 1:00am, and then woke up 4 times after that. Almost.

@NurseMommy: omg that is awesome!
Just right before she turned 8 months this last week she got a row of teeth, sat unassisted, crawled, and started cruising! Yeah I've had no sleep.

@tequiero21: woo hoo! That's awesome!
@beaker: OMG, SO CUTE!
@MamaBehr: exciting!!
@rahlyrah: haha! DD said "DAD!" a couple of times too which is so darn cute.
@Adira: that's funny - how long did it take him to say mama?
@mrsbookworm: LOVE the waving
@bushelandapeck: I can't wait for this stage. I love her little voice.
@Smurfette: I have to admit I'm dreading her moving. I'm glad you're enjoying it though!
@sorrycharlie: awwwwwww.
@Silva: yuck about the sleep! Dd has been saying dadadadada and mamamamama for months, and I counted ah da (all done) as her first word a week or so ago because she used it in context, but since this has actually happened more than once I think I have to change it.
@Greentea: whoa! Busy baby!

@NurseMommy: Hooray for first words! I love it!
LO is 16 months and will try to repeat pretty much everything we say now. Last week, he also finally used his fork to stab his avocado and put it in his mouth! Usually he just stabs it and takes it off of his fork with his other hand and pops it in his mouth. Yay for milestones!!

@NurseMommy: OMG, FOREVER! He's been saying Dada for months, but only recently (around 11 months) started saying Mama!

LO learned two new words this weekend. "Hat" and "Delish" it's hilarious to watch her enjoy her food and say "mmm delish!". such a cute little goober.

Daww! G started saying 'dada' recently too, and DH melts every time!
My brag is that my 7 month old future bodybuilder of a daughter is already starting to pull up on tables, and this weekend started to sit herself up from a laying position. EEEK!
