Does it scare you that your children (may) outnumber you and your SO?
This also includes single moms of 2!
I am a little ashamed to admit that although I want to have another child I'm sort of loving that dh and I outnumber our child for now!

Ha. Yes. But DH and I each came from 3 so that's been our ideal number!

I had never thought of it like that!!! They might try to take over!! Mutiny!!!
Three is my ideal number but it does sound like a bit of a handful!!

We totally outnumbered my parents, but we all knew that my mom was a force to be reckoned with, so it worked out!
Are yoi a sports fan? I've heard it compared to switching from man to man defense to zone defense. We want at least three, butit does sound a little.scary!

Little bit. I'm more worried about keeping everyone close in busy places than anything. But for now (and probably forever) we'll just have two kids and a dog, that will be enough to handle.

Nah! But our lo is still in utero so I'm probably not thinking realistically.

No. It's never been part of our thought process. Having the third really didn't make us feel like we added an additional child to be honest. In my opinion, once you have two the ones after that just kind of fall into line with the rest.

Never thought about that. But, the pets out number the humans, and it's been ok so far, so maybe we could manage kids, too, lol

Not too much. I think about it in terms of abilities. When we have 3 (or more), they won't all be toddlers at the same time, or infants... Different stages are easier to handle. And they won't be little forever. The goal is for them to mature into people (even elementary schoolers) that can listen and obey instruction.

Heck yes, I'm scared! My hands are full with the two I have now, I'm plenty happy to keep Cricket in utero for as long as possible because I don't know how I'm going to handle a 3rd on the outside! I've always heard that first three are the hardest and the rest that follow are pretty easy additions. I guess because you're used to not having enough hands by then or because the oldest kids are getting old enough to help out a little or something.

Ha we want 3 and yes this is scary...that's why I want them spaced out a bit so that #1 is about 6 when we have #3! hopefully he'll be a good listener?

@Ash: haha same here. DH asked me last night if I was ready to be pregnant 3 more times.

@FarmWifeGina: I am only expecting my 2nd but have been told by many moms of 3 that the transition from 2 to 3 is much easier than the transition from 1 to 2 was. You will do great!
And yea, I am a little concerned about having 3+ kids but eh we will go with it we just aren't sure yet if we are fostering/adopting some and I think that is a little scarier to me to think about all of that!

@creativemomma15: Well, I certainly hope so! PPD, breast feeding struggles, and no help made the 1-2 transition rather hellish. I feel like I was reeling from it the entire for first 18 months of #2's life. Maybe I have PTSD and that's why I'm a little traumatized when thinking back on it, lol.

I know the transition from 1-2 was hard! Maybe 2-3 is easier, but I would want my oldest to be older when I had a third, yet I don't have the luxury of that kind of time, (I'm 42 right now and think that I would want to be done by 42). No way I'm ready for a third right now! It's finally getting a little easier now tha M is 16 months!

I want 3 but never really consider that they will 'outnumber' us. We will outrank them, lol. By the time we have a third, the first will be in school...so it'll be manageable
