I use one tank per month. Up here that's $65, in the states it's like $40.

@808love: or it means I don't go anywhere!
We walk most places so that cuts down a lot I think.

@Jackiedavis87: Ok, so close to 85- 100 a month. It costs me a little less than double your weekly amount to fill my tank but lasts twice as long. So I'm similar.
@oliviaoblivia: LOL! No wonder. I wish I lived in a walkable (ok, I just don't like to walk) neighborhood. My work is close so that helps.

Over $200/month. It was well over $300 when gas prices were higher. Premium grade gas, fill up weekly plus we drive a ton on the weekends usually so another 1-2 tanks per month from weekend driving.

Over $200. I drive an AWD SUV around 70 miles a day, fill up every 5 days at about $35/tank.

About $120. I fill up once a week and it's about $30 to fill up.

I SAH but we are about a 15 minute drive from anywhere. It's not feasible for us to walk anywhere so it's around $100. Which isn't bad but not great considering I don't commute

I drive a mini cooper and I drive local 20 min to work so I've only been filling up once a month (I think) and it's just under $50.

We fill up less than once a month most of the year (every 6 weeks or so). In the summer we fill up more because we go to my parents 3 hrs away and drive a lot while there. We don't drive much - we're in the city and walk a lot.

$0, but when I did have a gas car as our primary car, we would fill it up once every 10 days or so, for a cost of about $40.

About $100/mo. Filling 2-3 times a month. We drive to an activity or play date almost daily.

I drive a fuel efficient car with a big tank. Usually fill twice per month, sometimes less. I drive to daycare and work and my car is also the primary car. So about 50-60 on average. Gas here has been running 2.5 to $3 this summer.

I probably use a full tank every other month. We live in a big city, fuel efficient car that I rarely drive (maybe 1-2x/week) and big trip once every 2 months or so. We've only put 15K miles on the car in the last 4 years.

@Littlebit7: we're the same - we've had the car since Oct 2012 and just reached 21000 km (13000 miles!).

I use less than $80 most months since I'm a part of a vanpool and drive 11 miles to the park n ride location.
If I have to drive into work or do any weekend travel, it will be more.

I fill up weekly. I cant imagine how awesome it must be to only have to fill up once a month

I think I spend about $90 a month just for my car. I fill up around every week and a half, sometimes two weeks if we don't use my car on the weekends.
But we have 3 cars that we drive and we spend about $350-400/month on gas. Of course when gas prices go up it's more. When I was commuting we would spend $500-700 a month! It was insane. Luckily part of what we spend gets reimbursed by my husbands employer.

My budget is for $120/mo but usually it's more like $80-$90. To get to work I am about 13-18miles (depending if I have to do daycare or not) one way. Plus any weekend driving or going to see my parents.

We've been filling up the tank once every other month. So monthly cost around $15.
(We walk to/from daycare and bus to/from work, and most weekend fun is within 5 miles of home.)

@PawPrints: We have a winner! I can't imagine. You save so much money! Cars are the biggest expense next to housing and food.

Under $20 to fill up and lasts about two weeks. But I drive a Prius and about an hour each day.
