This shirt on zulily really annoyed me this morning. Now our kids' clothes have to place judgment? I realize it's supposed to be a joke, but it rubbed me the wrong way. Or maybe I just haven't had enough coffee. It's possible.

I am with @lawbee11: I am the worst Mom cause I HATE big bows.

Haha it's just dumb. It doesn't even make sense. There's a lot of cute stuff on Zulily but there's also a lot of crap.

Well, Zulily does sometimes cater to moms who love the big bows/ruffles/animal print/extravagant mini-style, so whatevs.
You should get it and applique a bow and arrow underneath it or something

Yeah, that's stupid. But, like @swurlygurl: said, they cater to people who would appreciate it. I only get on there when they have Lego Star Wars stuff for D (or whatever fandom he's into at the time).

@lawbee11: Yep....I'm shitty too. No big bows on LO's head. She won't even allow a tiny bow/headband/hat to survive, so a big one would probably just turn into a weapon.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I love big bows!! L won't let me put them on her though... haha. I wouldn't ever buy that shirt though.

Meh. It's a shirt. I think people get a little over sensitive about trivial things.

@swurlygurl: There's nothing wrong with bows! to each her own/ shirt is fine. My mom was a ribbon fiend and would twist or braid the ribbon into my pony tails.

I don't think its the bows that's a problem... it's the mom that would buy it, put that on her daughter, slap a wreath on her head, and prance her around. That is where the internal eye roll comes in.

Bows aren't the issue, it's the silly sentiment that you're a better mom if your child wears big bows. I love bows and put them on LO when we're out but I'd never get the shirt. I don't find it offensive in the slightest, it's just dumb.

@Reese: Yes! I don't really care about bows...I just don't like "my mom is better than your mom...." stuff. To each their own - without judging others. If possible. I'm judging this shirt, so....

As a general rule I don't like text on kids shirts. Putting words in their mouth before they can talk seems a little unfair.
I do like well designed text occasionally that says things like 'adventure awaits' or 'hello'

I think it's a dumb shirt, but I dont find it particularly offensive or worth getting worked up over.

@swurlygurl: I agree – a lot of the clothes on Zulily definitely give off the "pageant mom" vibe!
If I saw that shirt on someone, I’d eyeroll. It's dumb.

I don't even let my kid wear bows so... mommy of the year right here! LOL
