I made the mistake of showing DD "Yo Gabba Gabba" and she always asks for it. I can't stand it!! I feel dumber after each episode.
What are some kid shows you can't stand?

Most of them, and we don't even have kids yet. I told DH that the only cartoons our kids will watch are the ones on Teletoon Retro and ones from the 90s that were on Cartoon Network and Nickolodeon. No Treehouse or Disney Jr. in this house!

I have seen clips of yo gabba gabba on Tosh.o so I make it a point not to! ! I find the wiggles super creepy.

Caillou and Max and Ruby really bug me. Most shows I could deal with but those characters are super bratty.
I'm glad DS has outgrown them. Maybe by the time LO is watching tv it could get better.

@Dandelion: YES! These two shows are the worst...which is a shame because the Max and Ruby books are kinda cute. I just can't read them now without hearing Ruby's bratty/annoying voice yelling at Max. And most of the time it's just because she is being a horrible sister and not listening to Mac.

While I used to think yo gabba was psychedelic, any show that teaches my kids "don't bite your friends" and that the veggies want to go to the "party in my tummy" is ok by me
. Hopefully the biter in my DS's class is watching!I can't stand Caillou but man my DD always tells me stuff she learned and it was from Caillou.

I don't like those zombie and vampire cartoons, don't know the names, but I see my nephew and nieces watching them. Most of the new ones are weird to me.

yo gabba gabba looks like someone made that up while high on drugs. i also don't like spongebob and don't want LO's exposed to it!

Ugh. My daughter *loves* Yo Gabba Gabba. We need to find her another show to get hooked on. I rarely let her watch it, but she has such a good memory for it. Whenever she catches a glimpse of the ipad, she's all "Gabba?", "Gabba?".

@Mrs. High Heels: I use to volunteer at my church daycare once a week. I passed out Spongebob coloring books for a Christmas party and one of the kids declined it for her and her little sister...she said something like this "Sorry, we are not allowed to watch Spongebob so we can't accept this. Our mommy will not be very happy." It was so sweet, she was 6 or 7 years old.

Mother f-ing Calliou. We don't watch it on tv, but he finds it on the iPod on the same app with Curious George. He LOVES George so I can't bear to get rid of the app.
