As I sat down with my first plate of food at mother's day brunch (something I look forward to all year,) my 3 year old threw up all over me. We had gone with my mom, dad, MIL, DH, BIL, my aunt from out of state, and the kids. Dh, kids, and I had to leave while everyone else stayed. I'm so disappointed (and hungry.) That's my mother's day fail.
What's yours? And, happy mother's day.
I drove around for another hour so he could have a bit of a decent nap since transferring him would ruin his nap altogether.
) So calling it a win
I still did laundry in between and still had to referee the kids here and there so in a lot of ways it was a normal day.
it’s also just about respecting and valuing your partner who happens to be the mother of your children (which hopefully happens every day instead of 1 day a year)
