wait till grandparents day?
I mean, technically, its not THEIR mom.
I usually do have my kids make the grandparents something but in hindsight I guess I should wait until Grandparents day

We do Mother's Day. They are her Grandmother.
We just do a card for Grandparent's Day since it doesn't seem to be a big deal.

WTF is Grandparent's Day??? Is that new? When is it??
My brother and I have never given our grandparents anything for Mother's/Father's Day, so my kids won't be giving their grandparents anything.

We'll just add DS' name to our card for mother's day. We're taking her to brunch.

We don't do grandparents day, so we just have LO make something for Mother's Day.

I know nothing about Grandparent's day...that's new to me. but, I also just learned about siblings' day this year, too.
My mom always encouraged me to remember my grandparents on mother's/father's day, so I'm sure it's something she expects from my kids. Although, I think we usually give something from the family. Plus, M isn't old enough to be that thoughtful, yet, lol.

I think Grandparents day is just a random Hallmark holiday to sell more cards. We will do something small for Mother's day for the grandparents-- not a big gift, but probably I will "help" C make them cards. If anything, becoming a mom makes me appreciate MY mom so much more, so I feel like she deserves something from C!
I'm thinking we will try for some hand print cards with finger paint. We'll see how this goes...

We don't celebrate grandparents day... We just celebrate the grandparents on Mother's Day and Father's Day..

I called my grandma once on grandparents day (when I first heard about it) and she was like.... what is grandparents day??? lol. I think we'll just continue to do stuff for our moms for mothers day, but as LO gets older we'll probably have her make a card or gift or something too.
